As a new patient l found the surgery very helpful, with friendly professional staff who got appointments moving very quickly. Cannot fault them at all as very busy.

  4. Review titled Missing Meds

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Nearly every time now my meds are getting messed up always something missing(not issued) it's only been happening since you've had this meds management malarky it was always fine before but now between Nightingale and Jhoots I'm always having to phone chasing meds which is also a nightmare with either in a queue or not answering the phone, im soo stressed about it all the time and feel like giving up and not taking any meds any more as I see no point in getting myself in a state all the time, I have serious anxiety and major depressive disorder and this stress every time can't be good for my heart either i am soo soo down over it all :(

We are sorry to hear this. We'd encourage you to speak to our medication team if there are any issues with your prescription and also register for the NHS App which shows when many prescriptions have been issued by the practice. This can then be shown to the chemist if they are unsure. Best wishes Emma Boucher, Practice Manager

  5. Review titled Great GPS

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Paula Smith - Posted on 18 August 2022

Great doctors once you've actually been driven insane listening to a message over and over with words like navigation team, clinician and continuity, whatever happened to receptionists, doctors and nurses ? These words aren't going to make the practice any better as it's gone downhill and you have to fight your way through the receptionists to get to see anyone and then it's not the doctor you asked for who calls you, it's so very stressfull especially with mental health issues also the system was better before meds management, my meds are always getting messed up and missing, never had this problem until about 18mths ago nothing is simple anymore.

Thank you for your feedback. We have recently updated our telephone system so that you can choose a callback and not lose your place in the queue rather than staying on hold. We use the term clinician as we now have GPs, nurses, pharmacists and physio's. You can also contact us via our website to book appointments, ask for advice, or for other matters such as a sick note. So that we can address your medication query and any other issues, please contact us so we can get this sorted for you. Best wishes Emma Boucher, Practice Manager

  6. Review titled Poor Service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 June 2022

Had an appointment for Bloods at 09:30am, got there at 09:25am. Long queue to check in, as screens not working. One receptionist dealing with a patient, took 15 mins before I got to the front of the queue, to then be told I was late for my appointment and they wouldn’t see me. I pleaded my case as I had been on time but it had taken 15 mins to be checked in. Receptionist went to speak to the nurse, nurse refused as she had said she came to call me twice. However, being at the back of a queue, not really sure how I could have heard her calling me! Unbelievable, I had waited a while to have my bloods as I have been having a lot of ongoing issues, to just be turned away. If I was actually late I could understand it, very poor service. Especially when 3 others were looking at the broken check in screens, at least one of them could have helped check the queue in. Have been with the practice all of my life, no more have moved to the other side. I work for the NHS and I cannot believe the way they treated me!

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. I am sorry our check-in screens were not working when you came to the surgery. Our nursing team call over the tannoy and come out into the waiting room to call patients twice so I am sorry you did not hear the calls. Please contact the practice if you would like to discuss this further so that we can look into the individual case. Best wishes Emma Boucher, Practice Manager
