    I would like to express my thanks to the Dr On my recent appointment. I found her very respectful and thorough in my appointment. I am struggling with anxiety after losing my dad recently and her manner and knowledge helped to calm me and help me think about putting measures in place to help me adjust and move forward. I felt listened to and respected. A lovely doctor who is a great addition to this practice

  2. Review titled Terrible practice. Worse I have ever come across

    My parents are in their 80's & are unfortunately with this GP. The system for getting an appointment is beyond a nightmare. The only way is to either ring at 8am sharp but you will be left holding until at least 8.30am. At 9am all appointments are closed til the next day when you need to ring again at 8am. They have an online service which they say opens at 8am and then shuts at 9am but yesterday when I tried at 8am onwards i couldn't send a message on behalf of my mum who needed a drs appointment as it said that it was outside of core opening times!!!! The only other option is for my mum to get in the queue outside the practice at 8am but she would need to get there very early as there's usually a long pavement full of sick elderly people hoping for an appointment. Some of whom will be turned away. As at 9am they close their doors (& telephone appointment requests) until the following day. This is truly a shocking and shambolic way to treat our elderly people. I am now trying to find my parents a better GP practice to go with.

    Just wanted to feedback how good the new online system is. Twice in the past month I’ve submitted information regarding my son at 8 am and he has had appointments on both occasions the same morning. Really happy with the response and ease. Thank you

    Staff is very rude , not willing to give Appointment, even, asking ringing 8 in the morning but making them phone line busy forces patients to go private telling nhs are very high demand

    I have been unable to follow the care plan advised by the consultant dermatologist due to staff at the practice not signing off the medications advised in the consultant letter. This has caused a great deal of stress, wasted time of me, chemist and the practice and is impeding my ability to further medications through dermatology to say little of the impact on my skin.

    I have spent days trying to make appointments for different things without success! I receive SMS requesting Blood Pressure (BP) readings from me??? I then receive additional SMS asking me to book an appointment for a COPD review. Well, I do not possess a BP monitor and do not have access to the digital service in order to book anything. I work full-time on a self-employed basis so trying to sort this is a nightmare. This is so frustrating. No-one answers the phone and no matter what I search, I cannot find an email address for the practice? My wife and daughter have full communication access to their medical centres yet I cannot even email to request a digital ID. The practice is simply going from bad to worse with time.

    Last week I had a gp telephone call. The gp really was ** fantastic** He listened, did not rush me, was caring and provided some very good advice. I am in the medical profession myself and can honest not fault the service that I received. Surgery staff and gps have a very difficult job - I would 100 % recommend this practice to others. Thank you to the gp - I am not able to name you which is a shame but your help is very much appreciated !

  9. Review titled Never get phone answered for urgent appt.

    The need to review their reception staff, if you call for an urgent appointment, the phone just rings out they never answer it, I called at 0800 its now 0820hrs on the 19th of july 2023 and still no answer that's 20 minutes of the phone ringing surely someone's not doing their job?

    GP has prescribed two separate prescriptions for medications that are no longer available, and it has taken two phone calls to GP practice and two journeys to the pharmacy to try and resolve this matter. Then to find out from the pharmacist that GP will have known the medications were not available when prescriptions were issued. I still do not have my medication and may have to make another appointment to see the GP.
