I have been with Ifield Medical Practice for 43 years and never had any problems. Staff both medical and Admin are always very helpful and polite. Doctors do actually care and are thorough. Thank you for the great service and I am sure it will continue!

I am really liking the new econsultation service during the mornings. I have used it twice now and you reply within an hour and help. To save calling up is a lifesaver for someone at work. Great asset

I brought my mother in for her flu clinic on Saturday and wanted to say how bubbly and friendly the practice was. There were two very nice ladies on reception and bubbly nurses. Lots of people were leaving smiling. It was super efficient but done in a bubbly manner. Lovely to see rather than doom and gloom vaccine queues. Well done and thank you

I’ve been pleasantly pleased by the practice in this last year. I must admit I’m quite an anxious person when it comes to my health but when I come in they help me. I try not to be awkward but i am sure I may go on a bit, but they reassure me. The manager has been kind to me also and I don’t get made to feel silly. I’m confident they have my interests at heart. It’s friendly there.

I had a small issue with my mother in laws prescription last week and tried to get it sorted but it was complicated admittedly. Was hard to explain. The reception lady said she would get someone to call me back to discuss it further. No more than 4 minutes later the practice manager called me herself. She listened and understood and said she would get a doctor to call me. She said she would personally go and explain it to the doctor. Another hour later and my prescription for my mum in law was at the chemist! Quite frankly I was stunned at how helpful everyone was. I wasn’t expecting priority services but I got it that day. Thank you for going the extra mile this week.

I know the pandemic brought opinions of GPs to the front of our opinions however post pandemic I am pleased with the practice. There's a few members of staff who greet me warmly. I feel acknowledged. They can't work miracles sometimes and I understand. I wish we could all have appointments when we want them but it's not feasible. I asked the kind manager the other day how many patients now and she said over 10000. I honestly thought about 5000. Goes to show the demand. She also answered all my little questions and didn't mind and then suggested I sign up for a new opinion group they are starting which I think I will. I like the nursing team and there is a lovely trainee lady doctor I met this week. She was good and I felt I could really think what I was saying rather than a stopwatch appointment. Will try and see her again.

I like the patient newsletter each month, website good, the nurses acknowledge you when walking through the waiting room, reception ladies going the extra effort, a nice stand of respect for a previous Doctor who has sadly passed away offering patients the chance to voice their thanks. I have had to come in 2 times recently and the lovely Manager helped me so much. She recognised me this week and came over to greet me and check on me again. Sat with me and listened to the update and was genuinely listening and remembered all the back story. A Nurse waved at us both as they passed - she is so jolly and makes you smile. I wanted to write this hoping they see this Thank you all

This surgery is a stain on the reputation of the NHS! Things need to be looked and they need to be looked at thoroughly I’ve had no end in trouble from this so called establishment about the care or lack of they provide my daughter and today is the straw that has broken the camels back. I will be transferring my daughter into the care of competent and trustworthy professionals now and we will not be returning to this surgery!

I visited the practice for an appointment today. I booked a series of appointments last week - the receptionist was friendly and treated me like a human. She seemed genuinely committed to helping me get the days and times I needed for these appointments. I was seen on time today and the appointment wasn't rushed - I was given all the time I needed to discuss everything. I really had a brilliant experience today, the practice was organised and efficient and every staff member seemed to genuinely care about their patients. A great practice in my eyes, with caring and knowledgeable staff who seem to communicate well.

Trying to help the doctor I emailed and asked if I could have a prescription for a really bad chesty cough as I had the flu plus I had tested positive for COVID. I said I had a selected pharmacist and hoped I would receive a phone call or prescription as over the counter medicine wasn’t working. I received a rather terse reply saying I need to make an appointment. I replied I can’t make an appointment as I had COVID and left the ball in their court. Result no reply so never did get any help from the Practice. I’ve been with the practice since 1977 and always been happy, it’s not the doctors or nurses can’t fault them it must be admin staff.
