Had a helpful unprompted follow up calls from GPs following discharge from hospital to see how I was doing. Really excellent service.

I emailed my problem on the Friday and on the Monday morning got a text message with an appointment for that day.I was then refered for a 2 week target appointment which I subsequently attended.I then recieved a courtesy phone call from my GP.

I'm not recommend this practice anymore. It was good practice before but become worst and worst. My husband have strong pain and needed to have an appointment with the GP. We try to call on the phone but they said that have to be online. We was there in the practice and the old lady on the reception was rude just said that we have to make online booking and then continue watching her computer ignoring us. After we fill the online form the lady call us and said that the first appointment can be after two weeks. We explain that this may be a joke because the pain is strong and my husband have to be seein from a GP ASAP not after two weeks. The lady repeat same sentence like a robot - after two weeks. That's terrible and this is neglected they don't care about their patients. We think to find out other practice. One star for that practice.

Mentioned today a problem whilst at the surgery for blood tests, got a phone call and appointment same day, we have never had a problem being seen, really supportive staff

Great doctors, you can call or fill a form in online to speak to a doctor as they will call you back, the staff are friendly and helpful, would 100% recommend

Made an online booking yesterday and called this morning to find out I had an appointment, was called by my doctor before 9am who was very compassionate and understanding and helped a lot.

The care me & my Husband receive from Thornley Medical Centre is absolutely outstanding! The Doctors, Nurses & Reception Team are so warm & welcoming. I would highly recommend this surgery to anybody.

I have been a patient of Haughton Thornley Medical Centre for many years, and I am so grateful that I have access to an amazing practice. Everyone, from the Doctors, Nurses, Receptionists and the practice manager have all been truly wonderful, and have held my hand through some of the toughest times in my life. I love that I can access my records online at any time, and can see all my results, and request repeat medications quickly and easily. I really can not recommend this surgery highly enough. Thank you to the team at Haughton Thornley Medical Centres for everything you do!
