I was impressed by the all round service I received from two Doctors and a nurse when recently visiting Falmouth Health centre. The Doctor I saw for my ear appointment was so insightful, caring and had a refreshingly human approach, which I really valued. The second was also very helpful, offering to print information about my case that was very helpful and insightful for me. The nurse that took my blood was friendly, kind and made me feel at ease. Thank you very much for the great service.

The care that my elderly parents received from everyone at Falmouth Health Centre was outstanding. I would particularly like to thank their main doctor for taking the time to look after my parents. They were treated with kindness, empathy and a genuine concern for their well-being. I couldn't have wished for better care. Thank you too for the compassion of the other doctors. Our communication with the Health Centre was efficient and friendly. The reception staff are endlessly patient. I was able to use the triage system for my mum and dad so that their needs were efficiently responded to - by the doctors or the practice paramedic. The nurses we saw were all brilliant. Even though my dad had Alzheimer's, he remembered having his blood taken by an elf at Christmas for a long time!

In the 1 year I have tried to use this practice I have had 4 different doctors . It keeps changing. Getting recovered from knee surgery I used the on call system to get an antibiotic. The useless physician that called me back 1 hour and 20 mins later . I requested an antibiotic due an infection. As I’m staying off my knee . This physician denied my request and saying she could not help me . Asking if my boyfriend or sister from another state to come bring me there all this needless running around to get an antibiotic for my infection. Was a very big waste of time calling them I wasted my time so ridiculous. I ended up getting my antibiotic from Dr on demand in 2 mins so I can treat infection while recovering from my surgery. It’s sad to say that a stranger Dr from who knows where was able to treat me . While the Dr of the moment could do nothing to treat me Super disappointed and now realizing that I need to find a new Dr . If a pcp couldn’t do a thing and was definitely ok with leaving an infection untreated while I just had a surgery. Unbelievable. What does the Dr of the moment use for anything. The physician would leave me with an infection while I recover. Don’t waste your time with this place . Horrible not worth the aggravation. The receptionist is awful and nasty as well

😊Staff pleasant, attentive and helpful I did not have to wait long before seeing nurses or consultants. 😒Falmouth Health Centre is functional, if a little bleak, and not the easiest of places to find. For patients from West Cornwall, it is too far to travel to Falmouth. Pre-assessments have been done at West Cornwall Hospital in the past and this is much more convenient for those of us who live in that area. Clinical appointments are limiting and stressful enough without having to worry about a long journey in heavy traffic.

Pre cataract surgery. Checklist completed on a question and answer process by a nurse. Followed by a check done on my eyes. Excellent service & super attitude to me the patient. I was made to feel very comfortable with a smile. Staff obviously comfortable in their surrounds, no stairs. Falmouth health centre light, windows pleasant, parking easy. Venue much better than the basement at the Tower Block in Treliske, hence happy staff & patient. Altogether a good experience. Thank you.

I arrived early for my appointment, and was seen after a short wait, but almost immediately after the previous patient left. The two delightful nurses carried out the assessment efficiently & cheerfully, while explaining everything in a manner I understood. I only waited a short time after they finished, before I was called by my doctor, who also briefed me of the next steps. All in all a very positive experience. I left feeling relieved at the progress of my treatment. The staff were great. The only improvement from my point of view would be availability of such treatment nearer home, as I had to travel 50 miles from North Cornwall for my appointment.

I contacted the practice for an appointment not knowing if it would be a callback in the first instance but after describing my symptoms I was given a face to face appointment by the very helpful receptionist within 2 hours of my call. The GP listened and guided by my symptoms decided to do blood tests etc immediately rather than waiting for a nurse appointment so that the results will be back within a few days. I cannot fault the service I have been given so far and feel confident that if I require any ongoing treatment that this will be dealt with swiftly too.

Thank you to such a professional team who dealt with my elder relative when they became unwell with a chest infection. From the receptionist to the clinicians the care we received was amazing. We were also given a follow up appointment to check that all was well. Within two hours face to face assessment and antibiotics started. Many thanks for your hard work and dedication.

I didn't even know that Falmouth Health Centre existed (just behind the hospital). It was clean, staff were friendly and helpful (it's not exactly a great time to work in the NHS) and I felt I'd received good, knowledgeable 'care' during my podiatry appointment. I happened to speak with someone (boiler engineer) the next day who was also complimentary about their visit with a sick child. I appreciate our NHS staff - it's been a difficult few years and I can only hope it gets better.
