I was called on a Saturday morning and invited in immediately to see a sports physio who gave me a thorough check and advised me how to proceed after suffering a sports injury, offered a follow up and gave me some exercises.

I can't thank my GP at Elsdale enough for looking after me so well as I've gone through a cancer diagnosis, surgery etc. I've felt so supported throughout, it has made a huge difference to how I am able to manage my life with ongoing treatment. I have also received very compassionate care from the nurse who saw me weekly to change my dressings and nothing was too much trouble. The reception team are always kind and have helped me get the appointments I've needed. I feel blessed to be a patient at Elsdale Surgery.

The nurses at this practice are outstanding. They are kind and warm and as someone with a needle phobia, I found them to be so understanding and gentle when I had to have a blood test today and a tetanus a few months back. They have also been similarly supportive when I have had cervical smear tests. I feel lucky to have this practice on my doorstep. Thank you.

I have been with this practice for 5 years, and cannot recommend them highly enough. I have had a number of health issues, more recently diagnosed with cancer, and have received faultless service. They have been extraordinarily compassionate, diligent and incredibly efficient. They have even called me in just to see if there is anything more they could be doing for me. The engage consult system they are using has also been a faultless experience for me, with one issue with my eyes, for which they refer you to an optician, it was 25 mins from hitting the engage consult button to sitting in the opticians waiting to be seen. Exceptional.

They are always helpful, I forget my sons scooter hours later I decided to call and inform them to look for it, they found it where I left it and called me and came to collect it, also every time I come I have been seen as soon as possible, overall the practice is amazing

Our family started to register for Adelaide Street Surgery in July and felt that the British NHS medical system saw some hope.

Always made to feel comfortable Reception alway covered good telephone manner when you call spoken to kindly with good advice your appointment is always kept to a good time doctors give good advice and guidance along with answers to your questions with good health tips too so doctors and nurses are often a professional skills and caring nature

I was called in to have a blood test due to low sodium in the blood. I arrived at the surgery, told to go upstairs and waited to be called by the nurse. The nurse explained why I had been called in for the test. The blood was taken and now I await the outcome.

Went for a blood test, got called on time, nurse was nice, job done, all good. I didn't feel very good as I had to wait a while for an appointment. It is good to be able to have a blood test locally at the GP and not go through the Homerton rigmarole. Just a shame they're not more readily available.
