I went in to have my blood test done: the nurse was very friendly, patient and took the time to check previous test results, reassuring me the values were all good. She also suggested to be in touch with the doctor to follow up. I was very pleased with her assistance.

Completed Engage consult, received a call same day and was offered apt for afternoon, was then able to see the Doctor and was happy with the consultation and was also able to collect medication straight after apt. This particular experience was flawless but is not always the case .

I had an ear infection. Used the website to make an appointment and had to wait a week to be seen. When I was seen, it was fast, personal, and covered everything I needed. I got my medication the same day, and I can already feel it working. Jan the nurse is very kind, and has a wonderful bedside manner.

I had an extended appointment with my GP to discuss my mental health including depression and anxiety. I felt very listened to, understood and supported. His advice was very clear, direct, simple and easy to understand. I felt very supported. I also had an appointment as my hearing hasn't been very good and he explained how the ear works in a simple way, and referred me for a hearing test. Very positive experiences.

Thank you once again. I had a wonderful day in Brighton arranged by fantastic people that I can't name, but you know who you are. As part of Men's Mental Health Week the surgery paid and organised a mini van, was chauffeured and entertained and free fish and chips! Other options were available :). It was a lovely day out and really helpful to get and give Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from peers and the incredible Community Development Workers. This truly is a wonderful addition to the community and a celebration to the NHS 75th Birthday. Thank you.

For anyone considering joining the Elsdale Street Surgery I can wholeheartedly recommend that you do join. Since I joined the Elsdale Street Surgery in 2021, I have been consistently treated with outstanding knowledge, patience, compassion and kindness by all of the staff I have come into contact with. Since joining Elsdale Street I have had contact with two Dr's, three members of the nursing staff, a member of the administration staff, and most of the reception team. Each and every time I have had the need to ask the surgery for help this has been met by every member of the Elsdale Street Surgery team treating me with skilled knowledge, care, compassion and kindness. They have also consistently made me feel as if nothing is too much of a problem, and I have never felt rushed at any point by any of the staff. I do not know how they manage to both give, and sustain, such amazing levels of skill, care, compassion and kindness, but they do. Although I have only been with Elsdale Street for a comparatively short time I have a lot to thank them for in terms of how well my health is at this point in my life.

Elsdale Street Surgery are always helpful. I forgot my son's scooter - hours later I decided to call and informed them to look for it, they found it where I left it and called me and I went to collect it. Also, everytime I go I have been seen as soon as possible. Overall the practice is amazing.

Don’t really see the point of the doctors surgery every time I phone up to get an appointment or to just speak to a doctor the reception book me on the e consolation thing rather than just give me an appointment or a call back and that leads to 36hr wait for a txt msg that is a waste of time. I call the reception again and do another e consult and wait another day to get a call of a doctor who said I should go straight to hospital asap That’s a 4 day delay because of e consult for something that needed medical attention asap according to the surgery gp I have now been to the hospital a place you can access a real life doctor and I did need treatment asap and did receive it but was told to follow up with my gp witch I tried to do today only to be told by reception I can only be booked in with the e consult the most pointless thing in the world especially when you don’t have internet access I just need to talk to a doctor for 5 mins why is it so hard, I’m not expecting to be straight threw just booked by reception for a call back at some point in the near future instead I sit at home unable to go to work due to the pain with no options but go back to the hospital

Spent over a week trying to contact the practice to finally be told to complete an online form. Did this and never received a response. Phoned and reception said a GP would call me. They didn’t do a couple of days later I called back and was told I needed to do another online form. Which I did.. this went on for over 2 weeks until I finally got a text message asking if I wanted to be referred to a physio! With no questions asked or examination or past history taken into account. After going back and fourth with them for a few weeks I went to A+E where I was diagnosed with several things wrong, referred urgently to a specialist in another hospital and told under no circumstances to do anything until I had the specialist opinion. I am looking at several surgeries to try and fix the problem. After over 5 phone calls and 3 online forms I still only ever received a text offering me the one thing that could have made it so much worse. Had a GP actually spoken to me for me to explain all symptoms properly they may have realised how sever the problem is. And I may have been given help over a month ago saving me from losing a months work where I couldn’t move… after 20 years I will not be back.
