    I've just been removed from cornerplace after 30 years. This practice has become an awfull,uncaring, rude above all a terrible doctors to have if you are ill. I was treated sooo badly. That I gave them a few words of my own. And for that reason I have been removed. I would definitely not recommend this surgery I half of the patients I look after are all saying how dreadful Cornerplace surgery has become. Gonna take something to sort this shambles out. So I've got a new surgery now. And just going into the surgery the difference they were polite and cheerful. Good start hey.

    We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with the services we provide. We do however have a zero tolerance policy to protect our staff and this would be the only reason for your removal as would have been explained in the letter you would have received.     Been with the surgery since I was a child and always been happy with the service. Recently had to take my toddler in. I always do an econsult, with a quick response and text or call to advise next step. Visited an ANP yesterday for my son who was brilliant with him, explaining what he needed to do and making him laugh. Had to do another econsult this afternoon as he is feeling worse and have been called quickly and booked for a sit and wait appointment. Can’t fault the surgery and very pleased with the service they always provide. Thank you

    I visited the surgery yesterday, as I could not log in on line, even though the technical department had solved a glitch in the system and was given a link at reception, to sort the problem, which worked. I was then sent a link on my phone, today, which is not smart, so transferred it to computer and it does not work. I therefore cannot give feedback to say please use email only, not to send a txt with a link I can never use! I cannot reply to the txt and there is no email system of contact to explain this. It is the most frustrating and difficult surgery to contact or communicate with as it makes every simple task so complicated, with so many hurdles, that sick people give up trying when unwell, as they do not have the energy for this.

    Sent in my E consultation as it was impossible to break through on the phone to make an actual appointment , received a reply that a doctor will phone me in 10 days time between 08:00 and 18:00 to discuss my symptoms ! I’m looking forward to monitoring my phone for 10 hours that day and hoping my symptoms don’t worsen by then over the Xmas period !

    Dear James We are trying to encourage patients to use our e-consultation service to free up the phone lines for more urgent medical queries. If your symptoms had worsened and you had contacted the surgery, I would like to reassure you that that would have been discussed with a Doctor. I'm sorry you felt that the time given to expect a call was not convenient, however due to increasing demand, it is not possible to be more specific. The Doctor will always try you twice, so if the first call was missed, they would always try you again. I hope this goes some way to reassure you. Many thanks Clare (Patient Services Manager)

    Today we had an appointment with a medical student and I just wanted to say impressed I was. The appointment was for my daughter and he was so good with her, friendly, calm and took his time to ask her all sorts of questions to try and help find out what was wrong. He also did a few checks blood pressure, breathing etc and he explained what he was doing and was very gentle with her. I hope he gets to see this and knows what a wonderful Doctor he will be!

    I don't know where I would be without the service that corner place provides. And a big thank you to a very special Doctor that made such a difference to my life and still does. And all the doctor's and staff for all your help over the years it's very much appreciated.

    This practice used to be brilliant, but has declined to a very poor practice that can't seem to stabilise and falls further each time I deal with them. they try to evade complaints by making you physically write them in (not email) Your ability to see a doctor is near on impossible, front desk seem to be the clinician now, asking all the questions and doing their best to not book an appointment. surgery, I only received three brief phone calls in this time. The Drs have no consistency anymore, and when you do jump through hurdles and get to see one, they clearly have not read any previous notes and know nothing about you. The repeat prescription service keeps changing, and is not updated with relevant records. Its shambolic and so sad to see.

    We are sorry to hear that you have felt a decline in the services we provide. The Practice Manager Evie or our Patient Services Manager Clare are always happy to discuss any issues you may have over the phone in the first instance and would welcome a call from you if you feel you would like to discuss this further. You can also complete an accurx which is a way to send in information to the practice, whether it be to order a prescription, get medical advice or pass on any concerns. The link for accurx is https://florey.accurx.com/p/L83103 We continue to see patients face to face that need to be seen. Our reception team are all trained Health Navigators and as there are so many other services available, they often triage to Pharmacy, Physio, Social Prescribers and sometimes A&E, this saves time for both the patient and the Doctor so we can concentrate on seeing or speaking to those who need a Doctor. We are constantly trying to improve our service and we recognise that there are some improvements to be made with continuity of care. We recommend the NHS App for ordering repeat prescriptions or using accurx. IF you do not have a computer or mobile device, then you will need to either ask someone to order on your behalf or drop or post your prescription to us.

    Would just like to say although we don't like the wait on the phone the ladies on are always very pleasant and helpful. They must be under a lot of pressure and their help and consideration is much appreciated when we phone. Just like to say well done and thankyou.

    This practice used to be wonderful until around three years ago. Since then a steady decline in the ability to see a doctor, talk to anyone other than front desk and lack of any dialogue is disgusting. I recently spent the best part of a year sick from work for mental health and never once saw a medical professional from this surgery, I only received three brief phone calls in this time. More recently medical paperwork has been lost, no apology, no explanation just "it's been lost" Steer clear is my advice

    I am sorry to hear that you have been unwell and feel that you should have been seen by a Doctor rather than speaking over the phone. We do now have Mental Health workers attached to the surgery and it may be that your Doctor could do a referral for you. I can also discuss with your Doctor your concerns about not being seen in person. Please contact the practice and ask to speak to our Practice Manager Evie Langman who will be happy to discuss further with you.
