I came down to the surgery to get an appointment today and was able to see a doctor immediately and have a blood test at the same time . I was expecting a long wait given the recent reports on the NHS.

I was able to get an early morning appointment and my issue was dealt with efficiency: the GP explained everything thoroughly and I left the surgery reassured! We are lucky to have such an excellent practice and communication via the NHS App is an example of best practice.

Short waiting time. Saw friendly Dr who listened and didnt just start typing/ looking at the computer screen which irritates me. Referred me for an X ray which was quick and results back same day. Can't ask for better than that really.

My local hospital is in mess. Everyone in the practice - from reception to senior doctor - has repeatedly (×4 in last year) gone above and beyond in efforts to resolve these problems. The NHS as it used to be and hopefully will be again. As a doctor myself it is a pleasure to meet excellent practice.

Three times this year I have had a problem sorted the same day. In March I awoke with breathing problems and saw the GP that evening who diagnosed the problem. In November I had an infection and had effective antibiotics prescribed and sent to the pharmacy for same day pick up. In December there was a problem on the NHS prescription site but that was sorted with one call. However I recommend calling after lunch when queues are shorter and staff less frazzled.

I am sorry to hear that you have experienced some health issues in past year but pleased that the team were helpful and efficient during their interactions with you. We are aware that phone lines can be busy in the mornings however, we always recommend for urgent matters patients call as early in the day as possible for there to be the highest chance we will have an appointment to offer. However, for more routine matters it may be helpful to know we also offer online appointment booking (if you set up an account) and e-consult service and administrative help service via our website if you find the phone lines are busy. Our reception staff work tirelessly to manage a huge level of demand and are highly skilled at advising patients on the range of options available to them and how best to proceed with their particular issue or request. In the last month I have been twice. First time met caring, holistic and listening locum GP. And today was treated with care, understanding and skill by kind, careful and brilliant nurse! Nothing but praise for this practice - from reception staff onwards, exceptional.

The staff at this surgery don’t deserve some of the negative feedback they get on here. I had an appointment last week and the reception staff were lovely helping me with a medication issue I had. Sorted it for me straight away which was great. I then saw the nurse for my smear test and she was so lovely. She made me feel listened to and really went above and beyond to explain everything to me as I was very nervous, and I wasn’t rushed out the door at all. I have been at this surgery for 8 years and never had an issue. Thank you to all the amazing staff!

I can not understand why some people leave negative comments, all the staff are friendly and helpful and nurse are understanding and very helpful, and as for the doctors well I can only talk about my name doctor she is outstanding, totally adore her
