Always had great service but communication is not good at this practice. We have been with Damira for years. Our recent visit, our dentist informed us she was leaving to go private but they would be hiring new dentists. We were informed to book in every 3 months to monitor my daughter who has very weak enamel. I had previously booked in her 6 month checkup which isn't due till October. Only to then be told by reception team that we would need to join a list as we are no longer registered as nhs patients due to our dentist leaving. Only when they get another nhs dentist in, we may be assigned an NHS dentist- not guaranteed. So if my daughters need their checkups, we now need to pay privately. I think its disgusting that children have to be charged privately. I get dentists are all going private because they make a lot more money, but why should children have to suffer that consequence? The fact that this was known for some time by Damira and that as patients who have been with them for years, it really was dissapointing that we have not been notified of this sooner. No idea if their 'list' exists to be added onto NHS but judging by the fact that several of their NHS dentists have left to go private, it won't be long until the practice goes private and we are forced into paying private health costs. It really is sad for struggling families and children who suffer the most.

I was very happy with my routine check-up. The dentist was very kind and concerned for my comfort. He explained what he picked up and discussed the options. Overall I was very pleased.

I visited the practice 3 months before my checkup is due as I was concerned about a dental issue I was experiencing. The dentist was extremely thorough, very gentle, and illustrated what was causing the problem through a sketch and showing me my X-ray followed up by explaining what could be done to resolve the issue. The staff in reception seemed very happy in their work and appeared to work well together.

I did not have a positive experience sadly. The dentist had not read my notes prior to my new patient appointment. I was only in the chair for about 10 minutes as there was little consultation about a treatment plan. I am HiV and was told I could only have end of day appointments (I really thought we lived in more informed times).

Been coming here a few year's now and my confidence continues to grow with the excellent treatment I've received both with my dentist and hygienist. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful so I'm just completely satisfied with the professional work done here at Dimera.

Encountered a three month wait for treatment, two cancellations during that time, but treatment when done was very good, the dentist explaining everything and was very considerate.
