Had a private online GP consultation who advised to go to Urgent Care or A&E as he felt I needed to be examined/have a chest XRay. The receptionist was lovely, triaged straight away. I had to wait 2.5 hours as it was busy to see a Dr which was ok. Once I saw the Dr who was great, examined me and gave me antibiotics plus other advice. Yes it gets busy but the staff are lovely and do their best. It is a shame other patients are not so nice, children running up and down, relatives of patients taking up chairs and then being rude to staff.

I had to visit the Urgent Care dept today. All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The waiting times through the process were surprisingly short, especially being on a Monday morning. I had full confidence in the diagnosis provided and would recommend this site to everyone I know. Thank you all.

Very busy when I arrived but the reception staff were friendly helpful and made you feel like you weren’t an inconvenience. GP was fantastic and took the time to listen and answer any questions or concerns, I didn’t feel rushed out the door. Although the wait times are long, I don’t mind when I have a good quality experience like that. Everything that’s right about the NHS!

Attended clinic on the first day back after Xmas break so it was very busy, wait time was around 3.5 hours with my child. The doctor was excellent once we finally got seen though. Very thorough and sent the medication to the local chemist where I was staying as I am not local, staff very kind and helpful.

Advertised as 0800 hours; it’s 0820 hours now, standing in a queue outside in the cold. Yet yesterday I checked 1830 hours, sent away because it was past cut off point. Told to come back following morning

Arrived after a fall with a very painful foot. It was busy, as expected and I knew that I’d be in for a wait. Helpful Reception staff and nurses gave me a good idea of what to expect. A very caring and competent doctor diagnosed a broken talus. Excellent X Ray staff, too. Colleague who fitted my boot and crutches was great. Thank you all.

Triage with doors open to discuss your personal/private issues almost on front of everyone in the waiting area. Not appointments available. Great discomfort with back pain and refer to Princess Royal. Coldly given to paracetamol and water and then discharge. Maximum wait 5 minutes for nothing. First and last time going there. A total waist of taxpayers money

This whole system needs a review. When arriving it was displayed as one hour wait, which is to be expected. Three hours and forty five minutes later it was changed to four hours. People kept being put in front of my son, being told more urgent cases were coming in. This is not accident and emergency so why is any one more urgent. There should be a ticket system for this kind of surgery. If you complaint is that urgent you should be in accident and emergency. One receptionist very friendly, the other talking to everyone like they were a complete inconvenience. Next time someone needs care I will suggest they go somewhere else. However, once my son got to see the doctor, it was a satisfactory experience. .

Thank you for your feedback this has been feedback to the team to make sure the correct waiting times are displayed at all times. In terms of people going before your son, please note that we have different queues and this is noted within the premises explaining why this would be the case. Unfortunately we are not a surgery, we are a UTC and sometimes some patients will take priority over others. I am very sorry for your experience. Thank you BB Management

Went with my husband and we was told to be quiet we was only chatting .. then to be told I couldn’t wait with him .. it was 32 outside with not a seat in site !!! Why can’t we wait with our husband and where are meant to wait for them these was the old covid rules !!!!

Thank you for your feedback, however as you may have noticed the waiting area is very small and we get a lot of patients. We do however make exceptions for the elderly, those with care needs and the young children accompanied by one adult. This leaves us with no very limited room for relatives. Thank you. BB Management
