The drugs available at a palliative care pharmacy do not cover all eventualities but any pharmacy can usually order supplies of a prescribed drug to be available for same or next day delivery.
Q. What do I do if my local palliative care pharmacy does not have the medication I need in stock?
A. If, for any reason, your pharmacy does not have the medication you need, they, or the healthcare professional involved in your care, will help you source the medication elsewhere.
Q. Can someone else pick up my prescription for me?
A. Yes. Prescriptions may be presented by the patient, their representative or a healthcare professional.

This pharmacy offers FREE NHS health checks to help you prevent heart disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease.
What do the health checks consist of?
* Lifestyle questions on diet, exercise habits, family history etc.
* Height, weight measurements.
* Blood pressure and pulse.
* A blood test for total cholesterol and high density lipoprotein.
* A personal assessment of level of CVD risk and advice on how to reduce this risk.
* Recommendations to lifestyle modification through health trainers.
