Overview

Malton Hospital entrance

Malton Hospital is one of the hospitals run by York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. It is a community hospital which provides inpatient rehabilitation, palliative care and outpatients services to the local Ryedale community. The hospital also has a nurse-led minor injuries unit.

Please note:

Minor Injuries Unit (MIU)

Malton Minor Injuries unit is open Monday to Sunday, 9.00am-5.00pm – last patient to be admitted at 4.30pm.

24 hour emergency departments are available at either York or Scarborough hospitals.

A 999 help point button (emergency ambulance service) is situated at the MIU/ outpatient entrance

Anyone presenting with a minor illness please contact NHS 111 (dial 111) for access to the out of hours GP.
