Overview

Fulbourn Hospital has 7 wards providing quality care for Adults and Older People with mental health problems.

The 7 wards are:
Adrian House -  24 beds for people living in Ely and in the villages around Cambridge City. Some of these beds are for people with problems around substance misuse.
Cedards Recovery Unit - 11 beds on a mixed gender ward, for people requiring a low secure envinronment. The Unit aims to provide an environment conducive to recovery, which has occupational and recreational opportunities and links with community facilities.
David Clark House - It has 22 beds and works to support patients over the age of 65 who suffer from long- term functional mental illnesses but also admits acutely functionally unwell patients.
Denbigh Ward - It has 18 admission beds for short and long-term assessment and treatment of older people with dementia.  Dementia care mapping helps to guide the team in providing person centered care and treatment.  It covers the areas of: Cambridge City, South Cambs, East Cambs, Royston and Essex.
Friends Ward - This ward is for people registered with a GP in the Cambridge city area.
George Mackenzie - This is a low secure ward for people whose psychiatric condition makes it difficult for them to be nursed on open wards.
Springback Clinic - Adult mental health complex cases clinic.
