Set back within landscaped gardens, the tranquil environment of the Priory Hospital North London offers calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 50 individuals, including separate facilities for up to 18 young people. Personalised treatment programmes are delivered by a multidisciplinary team alongside the use of a range of therapies.
Acute mental health
Our staff team has the expertise and experience to treat most acute mental health conditions. These include depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorders, schizophrenia and all major acute psychiatric illnesses.
Addiction treatment programme
The addiction programme provides intensive treatment, education and support to the individual and is designed to help them face the reality of their dependency, while promoting the restoration of physical and emotional health.
Child and adolescent mental health service
At the Priory Hospital North London we also offer a CAMHS inpatient service to help young people between the ages of 12-18 who are experiencing difficulties. There are 20 beds with en suite single room accommodation and communal areas. The service offers intensive in-patient care for the assessment and treatment of adolescents suffering from acute emotional, behavioural and mental health problems.
Eating disorder service
The site provides an outpatient service for adults suffering from eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. Specialist therapy programmes are offered including body image workshops and assertiveness therapy.
OCD and BDD programme
A specialist team are available to help sufferers of OCD, BDD, vomit phobia (Emetphobia), health anxiety and obsessive thinking.
