Moorfields Eye Hospital (City Road)

Moorfields' main hospital in London's City Road provides treatment and care to NHS patients with a wide range of eye problems, from common complaints to rare conditions that require treatment not available elsewhere in the UK.

As well as outpatient clinics and surgery, the main hospital also provides a 24-hour A&E service for urgent eye problems.

The main hospital is home to the majority of our teaching and research activities, the latter in partnership with the neighbouring UCL Institute of Ophthalmology.  

The main hospital is supported by our network of satellite locations in and around London, which enable many patients to receive our expert care closer to where they live and work.
