The Whittington Hospital is part of Whittington Health which provides general hospital and community services to 500,000 people living in Islington and Haringey as well as other London boroughs including Barnet, Enfield and Camden. The organisation was established in April 2011 following the merger of The Whittington Hospital NHS Trust with NHS Islington and NHS Haringey community health services. We have an income of £281m and more than 4,000 staff delivering care across North London in The Whittington Hospital and from 30 locations in Islington and Haringey. Our award winning maternity team are here for you and your baby from the very start of your pregnancy, birth and beyond.

We have one of the largest consultant-led maternity units in north London and each day, around 12 babies are born with us.

We support women and thier families from a wide range of ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds to have the birth they want, either at home, in our newly refurbished birth centre or on our labour ward.

So you can see what makes our maternity team so special, we are hosting an open day where you'll be able to find out more about the range of services we offer.

Come along anytime between 10.00am - 3.00pm on Saturday 5 November and find out what we can do for you.
