Overview

Hull Royal Infirmary

Our vision

'Great Staff, Great Care, Great Future'

The Hull Royal Infirmary site has 709 beds and is the main centre for emergency work at the Trust. The A&E department sees around 120,000 people each year with the Trust meeting the 4-hour target every year since it was introduced. Work has recently started on a new £7.5m Emergancy department to ensure patients have the best possible experience. We are a major partner in the Hull York Medical School (HYMS). The school saw its first doctors graduate in 2008 and it is helping the organisation to attract physicians of the highest calibre to this region. A  multimillion pound Renal Dialysis unit opened on the site in 2010 and in 2011 Dermatology and Ophthalmology outpatients departments were significantly enhaced as part of the new Clinical Skills facility. Hull Royal Infirmary has low rates of infections and continually meets the highest standards of cleanliness.
