Plan your journey with Transport Direct

Rail information Exeter Central and Exeter St David's stations are about three miles from the RD&E. Stagecoach buses H1 & H2 run to Wonford Hospital from Exeter St David's and from Exeter High Street, which is fairly close to Central station. Bus information Stagecoach buses H1 & 2 run to Wonford Hospital every 15 mins from the city centre during the day. Limited Sunday service. Stagecoach buses from Exmouth, Dawlish, Torbay, Teignmouth and Plymouth, First Southern National bus X53 from Weymouth , Seaton, Beer and Sidford, Turner's Tours bus 374 from Chulmleigh, Lapford, Morchard Bishop and Crediton all stop next to the hospital on Barrack Road. Road information Follow signposts to the hospital or to our park and ride from most main routes into Exeter. Parking spaces are limited and we charge for parking. Free disabled parking near all main entrances & at car park C. Our PR3 Park & Ride bus runs to RD&E Wonford from Digby. Leaving Digby on the hour & every 10 mins Mon-Fri 6:40am-8:55pm. Security staff look after the car park that is locked at 10:30pm.

We recommend that if possible you and your visitors use our park & ride service or public transport.

There are free disabled parking near all the main entrances and at car park C (by entrance A at Wonford Hospital). If you display the blue disabled badge in your windscreen you can park for free in our pay and display car parks.
