Overview

The EOC

The world-renowned Elective Orthopaedic Centre (EOC) is located on the Epsom Hospital site, and is operated by the Trust in partnership with neighbouring NHS organisations.

The centre aims to provide a 'home from home' experience for patients who need ankle, foot, hip, knee, shoulder or spine operations.

The EOC offers first-class care to patients and is the largest state-of-the-art treatment centre for orthopaedic surgery in the UK, particularly for hip and knee replacements.

The centre, which in 2014 celebrates its 10th anniversary,  uses the latest technologies and techniques to reduce pain and get patients back to fitness in the shortest and safest way possible.

A Centre of Excellence

The EOC is a Centre of Clinical Excellence with the latest surgical and technological advancements, an excellent track record for short length of stay.

The EOC is led by respected surgeons and a highly skilled, friendly and energetic nursing team.
