Darent Valley Hospital is a modern hospital in Kent offering "professional care, exceptional quality". We provide an extensive range of acute, mainly hospital-based health services. We offer patients the latest technology for their treatment in safe, clean and comfortable surroundings. The hospital's team of around 2000 friendly and professional staff provide care for all patients.

Departments and services

Our service users and carers are at the heart of everything we do and we are continuously developing our services to better meet their needs. We want to make sure that people are able to access the specialist care and treatment they need quickly and as near to their homes as possible.


We have invested in specialist community services so that we can support more people at home and we have also continued to develop therapeutic inpatient services for those people who need to spend time in hospital.
