Overview

Mr Andrew Liles

Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the largest provider of acute hospital services in Surrey and serves a population of around 380,000 people across North West Surrey and parts of Hounslow.

We provide a whole range of services across our two hospital sites - Ashford Hospital, Middlesex and St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey.  The majority of planned care, like day case and orthopaedic surgery and rehabilitation services, is provided at Ashford, with more complex medical and surgical care and emergency services at St Peter's.  Both hospitals provide a wide range of outpatient clinics.

Our specialist services include orthopaedics, cardiology, vascular services, bariatric surgery and neo-natal intensive care.  Our current Monitor governance rating is Green (the highest) which is a reflection of the quality of our services.  The Trust works hard to ensure quality remains our top priority which is reflected in the most recent Care Quality Commission reports which show no concerns.

The Trust recently won a national award for Managing Long Term Conditions in the 2012 Health Service Journal Awards for our nursing home project, where we work with local nursing homes and GPs to help keep residents out of hospital.

See our website at www.asph.nhs.uk for more details on our services and the Trust.
