Springfield Hospital opened in 1987 and is one of the leading private hospitals in Essex. It is a 64 bedded unit consisting of fifty eight private bedrooms four of which are two bedded parent and child rooms and a high observation unit with two beds.

Springfield Hospital has a suite of five Operating Theatres two of which are dedicated to Orthopaedic surgery and have laminar flow ventilation. A high standard of quality care in a range of surgical specialities is delivered by over fifty qualified theatre practitioners
