Overview

Parsonage Street

Malling Health Parsonage Street Walk-in Centre

The NHS  Health Centre will provide traditional doctor and nurse services as well as a walk-in service for both registered and non-registered patients.  Open 12 hours a day, 365 days a year, the centre is centrally located providing easy access for local residents and those travelling in from the surrounding area.

Parsonage Street overview

At the Parsonage Street Walk in Health Centre we provide a service to our patients from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm every day of the year, however we are currently offering an extended hours sevice which keeps the surgey open until 10pm everyday.  We are a GP Practice that also operates as a walk in service for those people who have acute problems and require urgent non-emergency care.

At times, demand for this service can be high. We are unable to see patients beyond our closing time; during the evening we will assess the number of patients waiting to see a clinician. A decision will be made as to whether we are able to accept more patients onto the appointment list that evening.

If we are unable to see patients that evening we can offer an appointment the following day, or signpost our patients appropriately to alternative service providers.

New registrations are most welcome; a member of staff will be able to provide details of our catchment area.

We are unable to see walk in patients for:

  • Second Opinions
  • X-Rays
  • Medical Conditions lasting longer than 2 weeks
  • Initiating routine investigations/blood tests
  • Routine Management of ongoing medical problems
  • Med 3 (Sick notes)
  • Referrals (routine)
  • Ear Syringing
  • Commencement of Antidepressants
  • Chronic anxiety/Depression
