About Women's aid
Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end violence against women and children, co-ordinating a network of over 390 national and local specialist services, providing refuges, help-lines, outreach services and advice centres for women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence. Keeping the voices of survivors at the heart of our work, we work to provide effective protection and provision for all victims of gender-based violence.
Women’s Aid also runs award-winning public awareness and education campaigns, bringing together national and local action in order to change attitudes towards domestic and sexual violence and prevent it from happening in future generations.
