After returning back to the Mall Pharmacy after 6 yrs, they greeted both my husband and I by our names, which was found incredible. The service is outstanding, very welcoming and polite. They won an award for the best Pharmacy and so deserve the recognition. For an individual personal pharmacy they knock spots of everyone else, with how they care about every single customer. I highly recommend this pharmacy. All staff members are always professional, extremely helpful and very friendly. Always give Personal Service in taking the time to fully explain and give advice on a wide range of things. I trust their advice completely. Excellent Service and friendliness today, as always, when I went to the Pharmacy for Covid and Flu vaccines. I was made to feel relaxed and did not feel any discomfort whilst having the excellent service. Thank You to All the staff at The Mall Pharmacy for your caring service over the years.

I went for my booked flu and covid vaccination and was chatting about having trouble finding a local clinic for my daughter who is vulnerable and my other children. They took my details and arranged for a home visit later that day to vaccinate my children. Absolutely great service and saved me from having to travel miles to a clinic which would have involved me taking them out of school.

The staff are always so friendly, knowledgable, helpful and no query is ever to much for them. They spend time listening, and always offer the most reasonable and best solution. I would never visit or have my prescriptions at any other pharmacy.

I called my GP for a check and they booked an appointment for me at the pharmacy, for the next day. This is great as I would otherwise had to wait a couple of weeks for an appointment with the nurse. It took 20mn for the check to be done and I also got my medication straight away. This is a new pilot scheme that is being tried and it works wonders. The pharmacist also confirmed that next time I do not have to book an appointment, I could just pop in. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The ladies were a delight to speak to. Definitely recommend them.

As you are aware, GPs are under enormous pressure and the involvement of the wider primary care multidisciplinary team, including pharmacy, is important to create "headspace" for GPs. We are offering a wide range of additional services, beyond dispensing prescriptions. Having tried two chemists in the Mall to dispense my script with out much success i took it to the mall pharmacy. This family run pharmacy has served Luton since the 1980`s, The staff are very helpful,friendly & very knowledgeable i would certainly recommend them . top pharmacy

Dear Patient Thank you so much for taking the time to post your review and sharing your experiences. As you say, we have been serving the local community for 40 years. Whilst we are a small pharmacy, we are often able to service patients better as we have a wide range of suppliers (unlike many large national chains who are restricted from where they can get their supplies). Many patients are surprised this and happy with the high level of service we provide. Please do tell your friends and family!

A year ago I had elevated blood pressure readings around 208 systolic, a very busy walk-in centre referred me to The Mall Pharmacy. The pharmacist checked my blood pressure and then installed a 24 hour monitoring device on my arm, which I returned the following day with readings. The pharmacist also advised me on reducing salt, healthy diet and exercise. Following advice and taking medication my blood pressure is now around 120/80. The medical service provided by the pharmacy was excellent and extremely professional and priceless.

We are so pleased that your blood pressure was brought back to normal healthy levels and hope that the lifestyle advice and medication intervention has led to an improvement to the quality of your life. The clinic blood pressure measurement we do includes checking the BP in both arms to detect any significant differences between the arms (a sign of other potential issues) and the 24 hour "ABPM" BP measurement also allows us to check normal daytime BP (to identify "white coat" hypertension) and to identify any abnormalities in BP at night (eg does the BP dip at night as per the circadian cycle or is there a morning surge). This then allows us to give a comprehensive report for your GP then to initiate appropriate treatment. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. Mahesh Shah, Pharmacist

Over a good number of years I have used this Pharmacy for casual health enquiries, prescriptions, and general medical advice. Without exception this has always been delivered with charm, compassion, and true humanity. The sense that the Pharmacist and staff have an interest in both you and your health is always evident. It is a pleasure to pass by and be afforded a genuine "How are you?" to a more specific and concerned analysis of whatever might be ailing you. This was certainly true in January last year when I passed by with one minor concern requiring some over-the-counter medicine, and another which I presented more out of vanity than as some vexing or immediate health worry. The Pharmacist thought differently and recognised a potential life-threating condition, insisting I act immediately on her advice. I did and she was correct. This was genuinely an instance of my life being saved by her trained eye and professional experience. within less than two hours I was having blood tests, seeing a doctor, and being prescribed steroids as a precaution before a series of hastily arranged hospital visits. There are few places you can go with your medical worries and always be assured of a friendly, unhurried ear and a sense of good old-fashioned humanity, but The Mall Pharmacy is genuinely such a place. I wouldn't hesitate for a second in recommending this marvellous little medical oasis. And affording my heartfelt thank you to the extraordinary ladies who work there.
