The service provided by the team at Tanday Pharmacy is consistently impressive. Whilst the service to me has been very good every time, and always with a smile - resolving any queries, etc. What impressives me the most is how the Tanday team treat each customer with courtesy and respect, regardless of their problems and background. What a difference compared to other experiences I can recall. Thank you.

I have been using Tandays ever since they opened this pharmacy, I am disabled have numerous repeat medications & so do my Husband & Son every month. They always have time for questions and are always polite & courteous on the telephone or in person Excellent service and went out of their way to make you feel safe all through the Civic pandemic. We couldn't get to the pharmacy on one occasion,I have pain relief and my Husband has heart medication (as well as other tablets etc) which we really need and they very kindly went out of their way to get our medications to us. I cannot recommend them enough superb and knowledgeable service with a smile. Thank you to all the staff at Tandays.

I have been getting regular meds from here for years but recently have had an additional medical condition, which has resulted in a lot more prescriptions. This pharmacy serves thousands of patients in the local area and yes, sometimes there are queues, sometimes the meds are not in stock, none of which is their fault. The staff are rushed off their feet all day and do their best under very difficult circumstances. So I would like to say well done Tanday staff, you are doing a great job.

  5. Review titled Good service

I felt it only fair to write a postive review after my last 2 negative reviews. I am immuno suppressed and try not to put myself in situations with lots of other people around me due to the risk of infection which can, and has, lead to hospitalisation. I was dreading picking up my prescription as the previous 2 times I'd been kept waiting with lots of other people whilst they made the script up. This was despite them having the script for nearly a week. What a difference this time! The pharmacist came over to speak to me to say if I rang the pharmacy when I was ready to pick the script up he would bring it out to my car. I was dumbfounded but thanked him. I am immensely grateful to him and it goes to show that these reviews do get read and acted upon. Thanks to all at Tandy Pharmacy.

  6. Review titled Very poor service

I have an ongoing medical condition which requires multiple medications and cannot be cured. Last week, using the NHS app, I ordered a repeat prescription. Today I went to pick it up and waited half an hour for it to be processed. Can you tell me why my prescription was not ready to pick up when I called in today? I have a condition which means I am vulnerable to infection so waiting in line to ask for my prescription and then having to wait for it to be processed puts me at extra risk. I work very long hours and the last thing I need at the end of the day is to spend half an hour or so waiting for my script to be processed. I stopped using the direct mail service because I kept being sent medications I no longer use and had not ordered, a complete waste of money for the NHS.

  7. Review titled They are all doing their best

I've used tanday for the last few years and I think their services have always been great, given the pressure and circumstances aswell, I always see them all working hard to get prescriptions sorted and provided as quickly as possible along with ironing out issues. I have always been able to get through on the phone to ask questions which are answered, advice and information given too. I find they are the best around for stock aswell as the majority of the time they have what you need. Keep up the good/hard work Tanday staff, your efforts are appreciated by the majority.

  8. Review titled Rude

There has been an ongoing problem with my daughters medication due to manufacturing issues. Due to this she has not had any medication for 3 days and I have had to get a different prescription. This is not anyone’s fault. I went to collect her new prescription today as it was put through as urgent, I was told that it won’t be there until 5pm as they have had to order it in. As she needed it sooner I asked if I could take the prescription elsewhere to see if it was in stock. The lady I spoke to asked a man (who I presume makes the final decisions) if this was ok and he decided to come to the desk where I was stood and tell me off. He said ‘next time bring it in yourself, do not get it sent over as urgent as I have had to order it in just for you, next time I won’t order it!’ I asked what he meant by this and he said ‘Next time you do this I won’t order it!’ Then walked away. I was stood there completely shocked as it is within my rights to collect an urgent prescription elsewhere if I want to. This pharmacy is where I always get my daughters prescription from so it’s not as if there will be unwanted stock lying around, her medication usually has a 2 year expiration date on it and I collect her medication every month. So I will be back to collect what has been ordered at some point. This has made me want to change pharmacies. I understand the pressure on the NHS however I did nothing wrong and I did not deserve to be treated in this way. The last 3 days have been really difficult for my daughter and myself as a single parent trying to support her. The way I was spoken to really upset me and I felt as if her medication wasn’t recognised as being urgent.
