I have been using this pharmacy for over 10 years. The service is always great, the staff are very friendly, professional and discreet. Just would like to thank the staff for being so hospitable even during busy hours, and the pandemic.

I had to stand in a queue for 40 minutes in pain from a back and neck injury. Only to find that my prescription was not ready and had to wait a further 10 minutes. No consideration shown for customers who are obviously ill or in pain. Having to stand for this amount of time is ridiculous. If we are having to wait so long, the least that could be done is supply seating for customers.

Doctor sent prescription last Friday. Now Tuesday. They had not downloaded nor looked at prescription until I arrived to collect it. One of two items out of stock. Call back tomorrow. This is a recurring problem with this pharmacy. Patients are truly patient for them to have any business left. But complacency leads to calamity in business and they need to sharpen up.

My husband and I are both in our mid eighties and have our medication delivered. Delivery from Chesterton is appalling. I always have to phone( when they answer the phone) to see where our order is . Today was the final straw. Medication was ordered on May 28th from the surgery and still has not arrived on June 7th. They can never find the order or say they have not received it and I waste hours trying to contact them. It is a very disappointing service and really needs to substantially improved or they will lose many customers.

Dear patient, Our service had not been good we were extremely short staffed. We have been trading for forty years the last few years have been very testing with getting staff and also in obtaining stocks. Our service has improved since we managed to get new staff . The phone systems have been changed and are being monitored got ensure they are being answered. We apologise to you once again for this

Waited 1hr and 30mins as did most people in the queue. Queue was out on the pavement and when I finally got to the counter I was told it would be 10mins while prescription was made up - it was a further 40mins. They had prescription (for 1 item) in advance so not sure why there was such a wait. There were elderly people in the queue and one lady who was not at all well. This is not just about drug or staff shortages. There was no proper organisation and communication was poor. If you have a problem let people know /put signs up / suggest quieter times for collection and provide more than two seats for people who really need a seat. I will never visit this pharmacy again.

We are very sorry for your wait time we were extremely short staffed we did try our best to dispense for our patients. We have recruited staff since then I can only apologise once again for your wait.

I have gone multiple times recently for prescriptions and it’s like they don’t have a clue what they are doing. Endless waits for run of the mill medications, even when GP sends it in advance days (weeks!!) before, they haven’t made it up. Can’t answer any questions, slow as treacle. Just utterly diabolical. Avoid and go to Tesco.
