    Had a scan on Saturday (23rd) and on the Tuesday was contacted asked to go to SDEC on the Thursday (28th) the staff in sdec were brilliant they were all so busy I was there all day and the staff made sure all the patients were kept updated were all friendly The doctor I see was again brilliant so thorough and made sure I had the appropriate pathway in place before I left the hospital she even called me later that evening to let me know what the plans were for me Amazing care by the department as a whole

    In October 2023 my blood and urine sample showed a very high PSA reading. I underwent an MRI scan and this was followed up by supplying samples for biopsy. I then attended the Urology department at Whipps Cross hospital where it was confirmed that I had cancer in my prostate gland. From mid October until mid December 2023 the whole process moved on at great speed which was a huge relief for me and my family. I was so impressed. But the experience doesn't end there. Every member of staff I encountered couldn't have been more friendly, caring or professional. From the technician in charge of my MRI procedure, the biopsy professional and nursing staff and to the consultant and his staff when it was confirmed that I had prostate cancer. I approached the Urology meeting with some trepidation but left in an upbeat mood after being reassured about the ability to treat and cure the condition. At every stage I was treated with friendliness, care, compassion and professional expertise. I want to say a big 'thank you' to all involved.

    Booked my blood test online via swift queue. I booked in at the kiosk on arrival took a seat and saw my name come up on the board. 10mins later at my alloted time I was called in and dealt with by a wonderful friendly nurse. Barts have nailed it! I have had a lot of treatment at this hospital and think it is so well run. Fantastic service.

    Came to Bart's minor injury dept for an injured hand. Was examined, X-rayed, treated, and out in 30 minutes. Wonderful, friendly, and profesional staff.

    I had local surgery carried out by members of the Oral Surgery Service team at the Royal London, and was very pleased with the way in which the procedure was carried out, as well as the follow up consultations

    Absolute fiasco! Appt 11/7/23, calkd 17 times in total no answer for exercise test to re-arrange due to injury.Attended consultant appt, Had all usual tests & waited 45 mins, asked how much longer too be seen, was told"There are other patients to be seen & your wait could be up to 2 hours"! (We'd arrived an hour before appt because we couldn't get through to exercise test. They said fine have ecg etc & be ready for Dr appt) we asked to reschedule to be rudely told you wont get another appt anytime soon!! Your in a queue to see Registrar? Why were we not told on arrival lengthy delays,& only Registrar not Consultant doing appts. Disgraceful way to treat patients, considering I had to contact them as my son not seen for over a year?? Avoid Barts!! This once amazing hospital is failing!!

    Today I had my teenager son take full anaesthesia for a corrective surgery on his feet. It was a complicated fracture at articulation point. I think the attending main/lead surgeon along with his Co-surgeons did a fantastic job start to finish and in recovery. I wish I could name them all.10 on 10 and this also goes to the day care nurses who took such wonderful care. I was initially nervous but now I now there is the best of the best in here. Never mind the wait that I had to take for a day. God bless you all. Proud of you. Five stars all the way!!

    I just wanted to leave a note to say how impressed I was with the walk-in team doing the blood tests today. I was there in the afternoon and expected to be waiting a while as it was a walk-in clinic, but I was seen within a few minutes! The nurse was really friendly too, after what must have been a long, busy day taking one blood sample after another in a tiny windowless room. I’m so grateful to have the NHS and the wonderful people who work there.

    I had heart surgery in March 2023. All seemed fine before my operation. The care I received in, ICU and HDU was amazing, it wasn't until I got back on the ward that things went down hill. I needed help with personal care, having asked over and over again, until eventually someone helped me. There were times I asked for help was asked by one health care assistant, can't you do it yourself. I found it difficult to relax, couldn't sleep at night, if it wasn't for me ringing for assistance, no one would check on me. I explained that I felt quite unwell, but felt that no one belived me, until I had a funny turn on the, 7/6/2023. I had to get myself in and out of bed, was given no real after care advice. Was sent home a very vulnerable, scared patient.
