    I was under the care of a respiratory consultant for the last 18 months having been diagnosed with Long Covid. It's been a really tough time and continues to be but the support & guidance I received from the consultant and all the staff really helped. Almost most importantly I knew I was believed and people understood how I felt even though many other people including friends just didn't. I received all the investigations I needed over this long period and everyone was just fantastic. I have now been discharged but as I am still really unwell I have ben referred to another specialist clinic rather than just be left to fend for myself. I cannot express my gratitude enough, this illness has changed my life significantly (writing this review is stretching me to my limits and I need help to do it - in the past it would have been very quick & easy), not least of which I had to retire and stop all of my hobbies. I am getting better, it's a long journey ahead but I know I'm on the right road. I wish I could name the consultant, he knows who he is and again I say "thank you" from the bottom of my heart for your care and patience with me.

    I raised an issue with a Dorking Health Care member of staff who forwarded it to the Deputy Manager to deal with. The Deputy Manager reviewed the complaint, spoke to the clinical team and then to me. There was clear understanding of the problem and a plan to resolve it from the outset. The Deputy Manager followed this through at each step and was mindful of accessibility requirements throughout the process. This is my best ever experience of complaint handling in any context, and the Deputy Manager should be commended for her thorough, professional and caring approach to the complaints process.

    Everyone was so very kind and thoughtful to me looked after me and put me at ease first time in a year that I had been out of the house everyone was just so kind

    Within a couple of weeks of a referral letter from the doctor I had seen an orthopaedic surgeon and added to list for a hip replacement

    Everybody was efficient, kind and helpful, I was seen on time, and my consultant was very knowledgeable, and on Saturday the hospital was quiet.

    However the hospital did not inform me that the appointment had been booked. I got a call at8.30am to say that they forgot to tell me about the booked appointment and my appointment was for 8.40am, I was still in bed when I should have been at the hospital for my appointment. So I raced there asap and managed to see the physio for an30min appt.

    I saw an extremely pleasant Doctor Who explained everything to me about my condition , for which they can do very little , but nonetheless I left his consulting room with a full understanding of what I needed to do to help myself with the help of physio and massage and pain relievers .

    Great appointment with Gynecology consultant. Refreshing to be listened to and told that the initial problem is been diagnosed with by GP was incorrect and something quite different but treatable! What a difference! Excellent consultant.
