Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of community mental health services to support people over the age of 18 with a severe mental health illness.
Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) are where most people receive support for their mental health problem. They help people to manage and recover from a range of common mental health problems.
CMHTs provide one-to-one, individualised support that may take the form of visits to a person’s home or at a community setting such as a GP surgery. They also work closely with our other mental health teams and services, such as:
- Community Veterans Services
Cornwall Eating Disorders Services
Day Resource Centres
Early Intervention in Psychosis Teams
Family Intervention Services
Home Treatment Teams
Perinatal Mental Health Team
Assertive Outreach Team
Referral to adult mental health services is via a GP, other health professional or self-referral by calling: 0845 207 7711
To find out which CMHT covers the area in which you live, please contact Bodmin Hospital switchboard on: 01208 251300.
