Worst nursing care I have ever received in a hospital. Private or NHS. They did not manage my pain well at all. I've had 10+ surgeries and Claremont nursing team was the worst I have experienced. Go elsewhere for your surgery.

Once again Claremont delivers exceptional care and treatment. In May this year I had day surgery for a total hip replacement. 5 months laterI hardly notice my new hip. Rehabilitation could not have gone any better. A couple of weeks ago I had a total knee replacement performed by the same surgeon Top man.Top surgeon. I especially appreciated how he took the time to check how I was and patiently answer my questions the evening after my morning operation,and also the following morning. During my overnight stay all the nursing team were consistently attentive, patient and caring. And what really made all the difference was that pain relief was given proactively,so that I never had to wait to ask for medication.This made for an altogether more comfortable and less anxious hospital stay. Thank you Claremont.

Friendly and attentive care team Excellent physio who in two unhurried sessions got me walking with crutches and safety managing stairs literally a few hours after the operation No small achievement.Thanks too to the anaesthetist,who gave me the option of a spinal block rather than general anaesthetic so that I was awake and aware during the 90 minute operation,while completely blocking any discomfort.A truly fascinating experience. Most of all I must express my appreciation to the Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon,who has pioneered this amazing hip day surgery process This included early morning surgery,intensive physio in the afternoon and discharge home after tea Incidentally,a lovely personal touch I much appreciated was an invitation to choose the background music during the operation Altogether exemplary care and treatment

I visited the hospital with irregular bleeding concerns and felt listened to by the consultant I saw. He was very professional and made me feel at ease from the beginning of the appointment. The nurse who chaperoned my cervical exam was lovely and supportive. I felt at ease and surprisingly comfortable given the situation. The reception staff were also welcoming. I’d highly recommend the private hospital to anyone and won’t hesitate to return should I need health care in the future.

The service and treatment that I received at Claremont was first class. I was greeted professionally on the day I arrived for surgery and taken to my room. Post surgery, nurses were attentive ( and friendly ), ensuring that I was comfortable and as pain free as possible. On both mornings of my hospital stay, I was brought a cup of tea ( and biscuits ) by the nurse whilst my blood pressure was taken at 6 am, something I greatly appreciated ( and something I suspect was not obligatory ). To conclude, many many thanks to Claremont for providing me with such wonderful service, and I hope my comments are passed onto staff who had dealings with me.

I was admitted into the Claremont hospital on the 10th of November for Lumber Laminectomy surgery I was met by the nurse she showed me to my bed, and ran myself through the next steps of the process very clearly. Not long after I was visited by the Anaesthetist who talked me through the Anaesthetic procees which made me at ease with the process. Next I was visted by the consultant who talked me through my opertion what time i was going to theatre,how long the opertion would take and made sure I was happy. I felt very realaxed happy and really comfortable. Once Id had my opertion and taken back to the ward the nurses took great care in making sure I was comfortable. When later I was visted again by the consultant who talked me through the opertion and how it went.(very reassuring) All that night the nurses looked after me making sure I was ok. First thing in the morning I was visted by the Consultant who was happy with me and released me from hospital making sure before I go I had an aftercare plan in place. To conclude the experience I had from all the staff at the claremont from the Consultant,anaesthetist,nurses physio. was absolutely first class and I highly recommend this Hospital. Thank you, James

I have my MRI's here after my cancer treatment and have found the service first class. The hospital is beautiful and the staff are professional and caring. A credit to the profession, I would recommend without hesitation.

I had a great experience of Knee replacement at Spire Claremont. The service was brilliant, and the staff are professional, courteous and kind. I will be returning for my second knee replacement.

Having attended for the pre op, I was asked if there was anyone to care for me when I got home, I said no as I had carers for my husband. Since I came home I have had no care at all and have stuck to the physiotherapy instructions as I want to be 'in full health' after the operation experience. This has proved to be very difficult so I tried, today, to contact 'someone' but have had no success. The whole situation is very distressing for me as I didn't know what to expect after an op, I've had no feedback from our surgery or the District Nurse so I feel extremely deserted .
