Recently had a number of appointments with the GP Nurse. She was absolutely brilliant, professional on all occasions, knew exactly what my issue was and assisted to resolve it. It took a number of visits for things to heal due to my issue. If things escalated, she informed me how to get out of hours assistance which was very reassuring. The nurse was on point and I felt she went above and beyond. Thank you!!!

I am writing this on behalf of my aunt who came and saw the nurse for an appointment last week. My aunt rarely comes into the doctors so when she does come, she often will ask to have other things done. The nurse she saw was knowledgeable, polite, explained things very well, gentle and when my aunt asked her to check her for other things as she hasn’t been for so long, the nurse did it. My aunt ended up having a whole general check up done on top of her original appointment, and the nurse also did a blood test whilst we were there which was helpful as the queue for blood tests outside was so long. This kind of flexibility is appreciated, my aunt left feeling really happy with the service, felt listened to, and the nurse was very thorough with what she did. On another note, I was also impressed to see an exercise class in the waiting area for patients!

I'm really happy with the way my queries are resolved at the reception. The staff seem much better at speaking to patients with kindness. Please keep this up, it will allow patients to feel welcomed and safe. I spoke to a receptionist about a recent problem and I was referred to the appropriate medical team member quickly and efficiently.

I had an appointment with the Practice nurse and she was very good. The appointment went smoothly. It's great that the Practice offers Saturday appointments. The practice waiting area and the room I had an appointment in were very clean. Reception and management team are great too.

The health professional carried out a great service. They initially called in sick so I had to reschedule. In the future it would be best if there was more than one staff member that carries out blood tests in order to avoid future delays.

Visited the GP for a review after prostrate surgery in August this year. I informed the GP that my life may have been saved by the Nurse who agreed to do a PSA blood test despite the GP and other surgery staff informing me that it could not be done since I did not have symptoms of prostrate related problems. Strongly recommend that senior male patients be offered the PSA test irrespective of whether they have prostrate related symptoms or not

I asked the receptionist to ask a GP to assist me and refer me to a physio specific for orthopaedic instead of general physio. I was initially referred for orthopaedic for my back problems and even had an MRI done as requested by the physio. But as I accidently missed an appointment in Feb 2023, the physio cancelled my referral without giving me any results of MRI. I did a self referral as requested by the physio, however in order to have a orthopaedic physio appointment a GP needs to do the referral. I explained this clearly to the receptionist and he stated he will speak with Dr. and get back to me. It's been 4 weeks and I haven't received anything. Not even a call for an update. And I've attempted to call the surgery 3 times but so far it keeps ringing but no answer. On another matter I saw another GP face to face for the recurring throat infection I keep getting and blisters. She said she will do a referral for me to ENT, again I haven't received anything back. No appointments, referral or follow ups. That's also been 4 weeks, yet I am still sufferring the same problem. I'm not sure what's happened to service that once used to be very good. I can't say the same thing anymore and feel like patient care has gone downhill. Patients have only become a number without any real empathy. This is how I feel about everything at the surgery.

I had an appointment today to remove my stitches. I travelled by bus to attend the appointment at 5pm at 23/12/2022. The nurse said she could not find the equipment and so I have to return on 03 Jan. Otherwise, I have to go to a&e. What poor service the surgery doesn't even have basic equipment knowing the appointment was to remove stitches since last week.

There may be rare occasions where the Practice may have run out of equipment or stock and we have to call our patients to re-book their appointments or re-direct them to other services for the procedure that they were booked in for. We are sorry that we did not contact you before your appointment to inform you we did not have the equipment needed. We have discussed this in our staff meetings to ensure we have an allocated staff member checking our stock to make sure we have the available equipment required for the appointments booked in. The reception are absolutely amazing here at The Graham Practise. They are very helpful and understanding towards my elderly aunt and go above and beyond to make sure she is seen to when required. It’s very refreshing to come across good competent NHS staff who genuinely care about their job and the service they provide. They are certainly doing a stellar job!!

The staff go out of their way to be helpful and to find a way forward with any issue. Very polite and calm manner. Some amazing doctors too. I wish I could name the doctors that I particularly look forward to seeing.
