    Ive always had enough respect for the fact that nhs is busy and its hard to get appointments and therefore will always call to cancel my appointment if i am unable to make it so that someone else can be given the spot who may be more in need than myself. But how can i do that when ive called and waited 30mins and been cut off. Then called again and been on the line waiting for 1 hour 30mins. Thats a total of 2 hours. Cant even get through to cancel an appointment. So how can we expect people to call to cancel. Its like there is no one on the other side or the phone lines. So disappointed and mentally exhausted from trying to get through to this GP.

    Poor service experienced from the poor lack of communication and incorrect feedback on blood results and also waiting for a referral but when calling 6 months later being told that the paperwork was not sent.

    I am House bound and asked for home visit on the Tuesday after a fall at home.On Wednesday rang again I was told I was booked for visit on Thursday no one came on Friday I rang again to ask why no visit and was told by receptionist if you are worried ring 111 no offer of help getting appointment with surgery I did ring 111 and they had to send an ambulance with paramedics to see me. I am disappointed that after several days of phoning I had to resort to calling the 111 service

    Grandson needed antibiotics for an ear infection, after a week of constant ringing still no appontment.will be changing back to my previous surgery

    Near impossible to get an appointment. You call bang on 8am and the line is busy and you are cut off. Then when the call waiting system is enabled you are 15th in a queue and you are sometimes randomly cut off. If you see a doctor it's always someone new with a different opinion to the last doctor, some of which I was later told was incorrect. This practice even under new management is failing. Online bookings are unavailable either, you go into the surgery in person and are told they are fully booked for over a month. If you don't believe me review look at the other ones here and on Google reviews. I'm prescribed medication that can only be issued by having a doctor's appointment and review. It's been two weeks trying to get an appointment and I'm now rationing my medication to every other day to prevent it running out. The patient care here is terrible.

    One of the GPs who unfortunately I am unable to name is exceptional - caring, knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. I can’t praise them enough and it’s pretty refreshing in this day and age.

    I received a text message out of the blue from Spectrum asking me to phone to arrange a blood test. No explanation whatsoever. Since then I have tried to ring them 3 times, using up 1 hour and 10 minutes of my life and no one answered any of my calls. Waste of time, money and headache inducing!!! Not going to bother again. It was a great service at first but now it’s dreadful. Obviously the state of my blood is of no concern so why text me in the first place? Ludicrous.

    I have been a patient with Spectrum since January 2022. So far I have not experienced any problem getting appointments. The people at reception are helpful and receptive. Medication is prescribed and reviewed efficiently. I have always been very satisfied with the treatment I receive at this Surgery.

    My family and I moved to spectrum as we were getting no service. They answer the phone promptly with very little wait but they seem to be struggling with staff leaving . I went for a blood test on Monday at 3,30 and was told after 10 minutes that the blood had been collected at 3 so they couldn’t do it. I now can’t get an appointment until the middle of September but I’m supposed to have one every month for the hospital to release my drugs .

There were issues with staffing, but since we have taken over we have been working very hard to recruit and train staff to provide a good service. We have blood test appointments available within 7 days now. I hope you have a more positive experience with the practice going forward.     Able to be seen in person, friendly staff and great care. I was referred promptly and my faith in GPs surgeries have been restored when post COVID I had become anxious to access primary care services
