  2. Review titled Utterly useless

Rated 1 star out of 5

This is not a GP practice, more like a drop-in clinic. I tried to get an appointment this week for my elderly mum who has terminal cancer and COPD and was unable to breath. The receptionist showed no concern and offered nothing other than a 'call back tomorrow and see if we have an appointment free' so I called 111 and mumwas rushed to hospital that afternoon and remains there today.

  3. Review titled Hopeless

Rated 1 star out of 5

If this GP surgery takes 5 weeks or more to register a new patient what good can be expected? If they are asked about registration, they just refer us to the Pharmacy. Should I ask pharmacy to treat my chronic condition? Should I ask pharmacy to refer me to specialist Department of the hospital? Pathetic service.

  4. Review titled Rude receptionist / condescending tone

Rated 1 star out of 5

Rude receptionist . Condescending tone . Once you get past the front line staff / receptionist/ telephone. The nurses and doctors are ok . Another horrible experience dealing with the front line staff here . The receptionist ( I know her name but will not post ) was rude and condescending. Just her tone gives it away . I don’t think she knows how her tone / responses come across the the patient .

Three times I have requested pain killers and three times been denied , sometimes I am rolling on the floor with pain but have been told can't prescribe them till I see a Dr and I can't get a appointment to see one so it's a vicious circle which is not helping me . Hi We apologise for the cancellation of your appointment, we do try to avoiding cancelling appointments where possible, but when we have sickness this is sometimes not possible. The staff should have offered you an alternative appointment at the hub is one was available. If this did not happen, please contact us on cpicb.nightingalemc@nhs.netwith your details so we can look into this further. Many Thanks Nightingale Medical Centre

Dear Mr Keehn I apologise for the cancellation of your appointment. We try our hardest not to cancel appointments where possible, but where we have sickness and no one available to take on those appointments cancellations are inevitable. If you are seeing a deterioration in your breathing and health, I would urge you to contact the surgery to make an appointment with a clinician for this to be assessed and not to wait until your review. Many Thanks Nightingale Medical Centre

  8. Review titled Shocking. Worst surgery

Rated 1 star out of 5

You can never get through to speak to anyone on phone, regardless on the time of day you call. Just spent over hour on hold, joined queue at number 2 and over an hour later I’m still number 2.

  9. Review titled Never can get an appointment for doctor

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Philip Keehn - Posted on 01 August 2023

I was not well over the weekend and I phoned the surgery Monday morning at 8am at 8.57 when my call was answered and told no appointments ring back tomorrow or 111, so I called 111 who then sent an ambulance I was taken to A&E diagnosed with a bad chest infection, now all I needed was the doctor to give antibiotics and steroids which would have saved a lot of time, I was first registered at Welland Medical Practice in Eye road where I used to get to see a doctor the same day, now they have merged I've never seen a doctor there
