I had a problem rang the receptionist who was lovely and kind. Within an hour I had the results of a test and medication waiting for me at the pharmacy. How fantastic you all were.

As a worried mum, I emailed the surgery this afternoon, was given a phone appointment within an hour and the doctor requested to see my daughter face to face. We were seen within 5 minutes and received excellent care. Could not ask for more - an example of the NHS as it's finest. As a family we have been patients at this practice for over 10 years with them proving care for my elderly mum as well as myself and my children. They consistently provide the highest level of care which we have appreciated so much over the years, as well as today.

I had an issue regarding a referral, a lovely receptionist picked up the phone both times I had to ring the surgery within the same hour. She gave me all the information I needed, digging deep to find the root cause of the issue and keeping me calm by doing this. She was extremely kind and very informative, and made this stressful time a little easier for me. Thank you!

Just moved from this area and reluctantly had to change from this practice. They have always been very caring and helpful don’t think we will get another like them. Thank you to you all from doctors, nurses, and staff.

I have only recently joined the practice and I am already impressed. When I rang to ask a question about the registration process the receptionist answered quickly and was really helpful. Registration itself was straightforward, and I submitted a non-urgent eConsult last night (a Sunday) and was allocated an appointment this morning. I couldn’t take the call but was able to respond with a comment to that effect, and photos of the issue, and was offered a face to face appointment tomorrow. Considering the strain our NHS is still under the service I have received has been exemplary. Thank you.

My husband and my daughter have both visited the surgery lately. Both times they have seen junior doctors. Neither of them were given either a diagnosis or medication. The junior doctors both said basically they would have a word with a senior doctor and get back in touch. This is quite unreasonable. My husband received a referral the week later from a senior doctor. My daughter has not heard a thing. She tried to make another appointment and was told a junior doctor would be available. She explained that this had happen already and she was still waiting to hear back two weeks later and was given an appointment in ten days time. I understand junior doctors have to learn but why are the senior doctors not sat in on consultation? We are really unhappy with the surgery and are in the process of changing surgeries. I think the service has got worse over the past few years

I am sorry to hear that you and your family have felt disappointed at the service you have received from the surgery. Without speaking with your family members that you mention, it is difficult for me to know which GP they saw and be able to look into this further. Was on the site looking to see when the surgery opens after New Year and didn't know you could leave reviews. My family have been coming here more than 40 years so we can't compare with other GPs but have never thought to. There's just the two of us oldies now, the birds having flown the nest, and every experience we've had has in every way been everything we would hope for. Over the years some of the doctors, nurses and reception staff have changed but the standard of attention, care and expertise has been consistent, so they know how to find replacements. Happy New Year to you all and long may your lumb reek as our Scottish relatives say.
