    Had good experiences with all the gp's & the nurse at this surgery. But lack of appointments & medication being cut isn't good

    Tried to get appointment for my cough and short of breath. They informed me that the next appointment was not until Novenber. That tells you that non urgent appointments are priority and that patients with serious health issues are not a priority. You would think they would leave spaces during the day for urgent cases but no. This is a poor system that needs changing urgently.

    Have tried to get some more antibiotics which were perscrided to me a few weeks ago but was told I have to see the doctor again only to be told there are no appointments. I have been in bed since Christmas Eve have not eaten since then have a temperture of over 39 sweating like I don't know what have lost a stone in weight coughing and sneezing how long do you have to suffer to get a appointment. Receptionist was so unhelpful all she kept saying was go to Sandwell Hospital or phone at 8 o'clock in the morning and thats a waste of time as by the time they answer all the appointments have gone. Have gone home so dissappointed and back to bed.

    Dear Patient, Thank you for contacting us and providing feedback. We are sorry you have not had a very good experience when trying to book your appointment. Reception team did inform you correctly you should have a Doctors appointment for antibiotics , they are not able to prescribe without seeing you. Unfortunately the demand for appointments has increased, we do have emergency appointments and slots that open on the day but they do get taken quite quickly. We apologise for not being able to get a quick appointment for you on this occasion. We have added some extra appointments to help ease the demand through the winter months.     I had been waiting for my health issue to be resolved seen months now, they have no appointments at all, without any notification I had been removed from the GP although I had last visited them in April, Rude receptionist they called and said to come at 1010 and when I reached time changed to 0950 now they have no appointments till next 4 weeks. The waiting lobby totally empty and they cant 99.q. no texts ,no reminders ,no posts. I think my issue will solve on its own. Will change this GP anyways. I had to call 111 and I was seen by Dr in Walsall Manor Urgent treatment. They have requested for Ultra Sound and blood test and I have no idea how will I know what's wrong with me. Hope no one has to suffer.

    I was double booked on my appointment today which wasn't my fault. Waited 1 hour and 35 minutes. Came to my appointment during lunch hour thinking it's convenient however due to the delay it then overlapped into my working hours. Not good enough, something needs to be done about the waiting times. We just about get appointments at this surgery due to high demand, at least stick to your timings.
