Review titled Really bad practice with lazy and rude GPs

Any resemblance of a quality of care is non existent, our family got no appointments in person for the past 2 years. Unqualified call center personnel takes notes and only offers a call back from the doctor, never a physical appointment. When finally a call back happens, the doctors are rude and not caring if you are not just about to die. They tick boxes that their online consultation represented an appointment - in our case several times it took precisely 2.5 mins. If one complains, the answer is “go private and NHS is in crisis”. These are the GPs that work 9 to 5 and clearly not overworked not to care. Why are they paid by NHS?

I have attended this surgery many years and found it to be most efficient and caring. Doctors are young, bright, and eager to aim for the best outcome for me. I feel very lucky to have Daleham as my local practice.

Had a telephone appointment and described all my symptoms to the doctor and was told to arrange another appointment for an examination. When I turned up for the examination there were no notes on the system about my call or symptoms, so had to repeat myself again. I was seen 40 mins late and was told each appointment are 10mins so can only mention 1 medical issue for each appointment. Admin staff and Doctors do not seem bothered about how they speak and treat staff, really disappointing these people are doctors. Also there is always something wrong with their website, security issues or it is down so can't order a repeat prescription or do an econsult over the phone. Terrible place, wish it would change management, doctors and staff.

We have been with this practice for a few years and recently I had the feeling that the availability of their GPs and nurses has really dropped. I had to go to another practice to have a smear test as they never had a nurse available. Usual to wait a week to have a phone call with the GP. Limited availability for immunization appointments for children etc. I also found that their admin staff was not able to give good recommendations (e.g. asking to go on the online platform when I had mentioned I was pregnant and the online platform cannot advise pregnant women etc.). When having appointments the staff was lovely.
