I had abnormal blood results and needed some medication. I called the GP to book an appointment. Receptionists gave appointment after 2 weeks of ringing them every morning. Receptionists keep on giving wrong appointment time to their patients. My treatment has been delayed for nearly 3 weeks. Doctors call me at the time I’m not aware I have an appointment. I have left my name and number with reception for their practice manager to call me. No one has made a phone call to explain why appointments are getting cancelled and changed without informing patients. This GP is unsafe for patients.

I had booked face to face appointment for my dad on Wednesday 28th February. His vision has completely gone from left eye. My dad went to GP and waited for 30 mins. Receptionists said they have changed his appointment time and without informing him. Receptionists are very rude and shout at patients and relatives. Don’t book appointments correctly. Refuse to give their name or their practice managers email

Wait a month for a telephone consultation and get prescribed medication due to stroke risk. GP forgets to prescribe medication and now have to wait for a month to see another doctor to get the prescription aiuthorised.

Been waiting for 26 minutes now to speak to someone - obviously the call can’t be important as they keep saying on hold. Can never get an appointment always told to call back at 8am next day - why ?? - when you are very very lucky enough to get on the surgery is always empty !!!

Trying to contact them by telephone is a complete utter joke you are on the phone for ages and still dont get a reply no matter what option you press

I attended cliftonMC 10.11 2.15pm for my scheduled appointment used the self check in service which confirmed my appointment and advised me to take a seat. After 45 minutes I approached the receptionist who told me I was not booked in and that I was at the wrong surgery. The two text messages reminding me of my appointment mentioned nothing about a different venue. My original consultation was at Wickersley, I can think of no reason why I should have known to go elsewhere for the appointment. System fundamentally flawed.

had to go to a walk in centre as no appointments available at clifton lane got help there told by the doctor who I saw my blood pressure was low and to see my gp and to check my leg rang clifton lane told no appointments last week or this week and you can not book a appointment what can we do

The check in machine situated on the desk for your appointment does not work so this means you have to tell the reception desk staff who are usually very busy with calls, if you take a seat then you will miss your appointment as happened to myself with my 92 year old mom today, we sat waiting forty mins until we could get to the desk once reception had a soace between calls, this needs a much better system or the machine fixed!

I have a 6 year old son. He is registered at this doctors. In his 6 years I have never been able to get him seen at this surgery. Every time I call for him I am told there are no appointments. Called yesterday to ask for an appointment as I suspected chicken pox but wanted it confirmed. Was told there were no appointments- was number 1 on the line for 15 minutes. Told to take an unwell 6 year old to the walk in centre or I could take him to the pharmacy. Shocking really that the pharmacy can see a child quicker than his own doctors can. It is mind boggling that he is 6 years old and has never been seen by the doctors he is registered with.
