  1. Review titled A mixed experience

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Great service from receptionist, courteous and respectful; I cannot fault them. I cannot say the same for the GP, who asked me questions and then kept on loudly interrupting me as I was trying to respond. Well intended or not, I felt stifled by not being able to finish what I wanted to say. The consultation room had a strong, unpleasant smell of vomit, at least when I was there, which only added to the negative experience of the consultation. I left the surgery feeling stifled, grossed-out (due to the odour) and wishing that the receptionist was the GP.

  2. Review titled Please avoid

I am writing to express my disappointment with the lack of communication and patient care at your practice. During my recent requests which were ignored and not followed up, it's incredibly unforgivable. I felt that my needs as a patient were not being met. As a patient, I expect to be treated with care, communicated accordingly, and have my concerns taken seriously. Unfortunately, this was not the case at your practice, and I left feeling frustrated and unheard. I believe that good communication is essential for any medical practice, and I was disappointed to find that this was not the case at your practice. As a patient, I expect to be kept informed about my care and to have my questions answered in a timely manner. I hope that you will take my feedback into consideration and take steps to improve the level of communication and patient care at your practice. Improving patient care will not only benefit your patients, but also improve the overall quality of care that you provide.

  3. Review titled Great experience

Rated 4 stars out of 5

We went here for the 12weeks and 16weeks immunisations for my baby. The nurse was really kind and explained everything really well to us at each step. She made sure our baby was calm and made the shots real easy and quick. Would definitely recommend as I didn’t really have a great experience at the 8weeks shots at a different practice

  4. Review titled Ghost GP

Rated 1 star out of 5

This GP basically doesn’t exist. You cannot get an appointment, they rarely answer the phone lines. If you do ever get through, the service is extremely incompetent, often struggle with basic requests eg. Referrals. If you need regular treatment due to a chronic condition, as my partner does, then dealing with this GP is extremely stressful. By far the worst practice I’ve ever dealt with.

  5. Review titled Utter disregard for patients, no interest in helping

Rated 1 star out of 5

In the past I’ve had to drive 40 mins to go to another surgery for a cervical screen/chikdrens jabs as apparently a nurse attends the surgery once a month if lucky. Felt dreadful with acute kidney pain. Called 111 go recommended I see my gp asap. After several calls (waiting on average 45mins on hold) I could make an appt for 10 days later for a blood test. I tried to make an appt for the day my daughter was being vaccinated. No sense of service. I got blood tests done. Told to call for results on Monday as instructed, waited 45 mins on hold and gave up. Have been on hold for 1:15 so far today to retrieve results. Hung up and called back desperately trying to get through to find that the surgery is closed for staff training. If you email surgery you get an unsatisfactory response days later, if you call you can’t get through, and if you attend the surgery you cannot see a GP. It’s a very worrying situation to see that this surgery is still operational. Does no one from NHS review these surgeries and the services (or lack of) they provide?

  6. Review titled I cannot get an appointment . I am 65

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Roger Martin Cooper - Posted on 26 May 2022

I joined this surgery about 6 months ago. It is very close to my home . I am 65 years old and started having contrinuous stomach pains 3 months ago. I tried to call to make even appointment and after waiting 45 mins was told i had to make the booking online. I filled out the online form 4 times and each time the online response was "You need to speak to someone about this". Then I tried to call again but I never get through to anyone in reception ever. I am right now calling again and have been "No 3 in the queue for 40 mins. I wish I had never joined this surgery. Please do not join this surgery if you are elderly.

  7. Review titled Ghost surgery

Rated 1 star out of 5

This is not a GP surgery in any recogniseable sense. I was advised to get a same day appointment with my GP, but was informed by reception that this surgery does not offer same day GP appointments, or indeed any face to face GP appointments. How can a GP surgery not ever have face to face appointments with a Gp??! They also don’t have a same day call back service to speak to a GP instead offering a day weeks in the future where you get a call from a GP call centre. This surgery needs to be urgently reformed or closed. It is dangerous for any medical facility to be operating in this way.
