  1. Review titled Good Lady Doctor

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I am a student Nurse on Clinical placement. And I observed the lady mental health Doctor all day while consulting with patients. I learnt quite a lot from her friendly relationship with patients. Very accommodating and thorough. She has empathy, listens to the patient and sees things from patient point of view. I appreciate that skill, is a take home for me.

  2. Review titled Brilliant care from reception to GP

Rated 5 stars out of 5

These guys are lovely people, gentle and kind. I have had exceptional care over the last year and would 100% recommend. The practice respects you as an individual and all the people I have come in to contact with there have been marvellous, often under difficult circumstances.

  3. Review titled Bad doctor

Rated 1 star out of 5

Only wanted to be reffered to a specialist for my back, neck and joint pains which i have for 4 months. Affecting work and gym training. Waited for appointment to see doctor for a month. Doctor made me feel like im wasting their time. Blood tests didnt show any obvious reason for my pain so doctor refused to investigate further. Said “ its just pain. It comes and goes” looking at me like i made all this up.

Dear Patient, We are sorry that you have had a poor experience at the practice. The management team would like to investigate this further. Please could you call the practice at your earliest convenience on 01772 910904 to speak to a member of the management team? A specialist referral can be made once you have had an assessment with a physiotherapist. We do have an in-house physiotherapist who is with us on a Monday, who can deal with all musculoskeletal and joint problems. His appointments are available to book online via My GP App (https://www.mygp.com/) or the reception team can pre-book an appointment.

I honestly can't fault the doctors, nurses, health care professionals and receptionists here. They have always been able to help me and get me appointments. The patient access is a great addition. Thank you for all your hard work. Best doctors I've ever had.

  5. Review titled Unhelpful 'practice policy'.

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I am the sole carer for my mum 84yrs who has Alzhiemers. Central Park is my mums practice, I go elswhere. I am single and work full-time. I find the 'practice policy' of having to call a separate number between specific times of day (9.30 till 2.30pm?) really unhelpful. I have my hands full with mums complex needs and these additional hoops to jump through create much frustration for me. I too work in the NHS and struggle to find time to have a break never mind make personal calls for my mums numerous prescriptions during the hours they stipulate. Surely, if you can answer the phone to me, you can accommodate my request? life is difficult enough! Perhaps you could provide an out of working hours prescription line to make this service user friendly??? I am seriously considering moving mum to another practice.

Dear Sir / Madam, Thank you for your feedback. The practice closes the prescription line at 2:30pm because staff use this time to deal with other patient admin / queries. If these hours are not suitable for you, you can order prescriptions via email centralpark.surgery@nhs.net or sign up for online access https://www.patientaccess.com / my GP app https://www.mygp.com/. You can order your prescriptions at any time this way. We use a separate phone line for prescription queries to reduce a back log with the main phone line. I am aware that other practices in the area operate a similar policy. Please call the surgery on 01772 325110 and ask to speak to the management team if you would like to discuss this further. Many thanks.
