    I wish to extend my thanks and appreciation to all the team at Dore & Carterknowle surgery including the clerical team who efficiently triaged and prioritised a follow-up request for a routine appointment. This resulted in a telephone call from a doctor within the hour and subsequently a face to face appointment being offered later that day to further investigate continued and worsening upper abdominal pain. A referral for further investigations on the two week wait pathway was made which was sensitively and clearly explained. Despite bank holidays and doctor strikes all these investigations were communicated and performed within 2/3 weeks of my appointment at the surgery and communicated efficiently through the NHS app. I wish to thank those involved for their professionalism and allowing me to gain the reassurance from these test results in a timely fashion and giving me some welcome reassurance.

    I phone this afternoon the receptionist was very helpful and efficient. The Gp called me back very quickly. She was kind and sorted my problem efficiently. I know general practice is under immense pressure at the moment, thank you for an excellent service.

    I have had to contact the surgery on two occasions recently as I was concerned about an elderly relative. On both occasions I was very impressed by the service I received. The receptionist who took my call was polite and helpful, and I had a phonecall back from two different GPs, both of whom were friendly, listened to my concerns and helped to sort out the issues I had. As a GP myself I am well aware of just how hard it is at the moment to provide good quality primary care, but I think this surgery are nailing it!
