Hailing Park Medical Practice is a fantastic doctor Surgery to attend. Everyone there is always friendly, helpful, polite and always do there best to make sure you get the help you need. They always help with any information needed and give me numbers to call or people to contact within specific units when I haven't received contact information for that unit. They always contact me with outcomes from test and advise me when I need to see the doctor as a result from my test. Highly recommended.

We moved to this area recently & signed on with our GP practice. We've been so pleased with everything about it. The doctors, nurses, receptionists have all been so friendly, knowledgable & kind. The doctors and receptionists are the best part of this surgery. Always ready to help. The surgery is always clean & tidy. Getting to book an appointment via the telephone and also with patient access has been easy, telephone or face to face appointments, being available. This is the best Gp surgery we have been registered with. Thank you so much everyone.

I had my bloods done this morning (22nd August). What an absolute star of a staff member. She is always so cheerful and greets you like an old friend. I am hard to get blood from but she never has an issue! I'm not nervous of blood tests, but I am sure if you were you would feel safe, as she gives off kind and confident vibes. It's a small thing, but a friendly face makes a huge difference!

Haven't seen a doctor since before Covid and with so much media negativity about appointments was dreading needing one! When this moment came I was quite worried but rang this morning just as they turned the phones on - amazed that I was 4 in the queue I hung on and told the receptionist who answered within 10 minutes of my need to see a doctor face-to-face. They were very respectful and helpful, understanding my concerns and offered me an afternoon appointment. The doctor was again very respectful, listened to my story, gave me a thorough examination and a diagnosis and explained this, the medication she was prescribing and told me to come back if my condition got worse or didn't clear up and referred me to the hospital for further tests. All in all great patient care - thank you

I phoned the surgery to book appointment to see the GP for a suspected ear infection. I was told by the receptionist to visit my local chemist. I visited the chemist was told l need a prescription from my GP. I phone the surgery again to let her know l need a doctors prescription, the respond l got from the receptionist was to call 111, how can l call 111 for ear infection, it’s ridiculous I am still waiting for appointment to see the GP face to face. I have been with this surgery for over 31 years, never experienced this hostility before, needs immediate reform. Have no problem with the GPS, the receptionist needs good training and how to deal with patients.

I booked for a telephone consultation for 3:30 pm. Waited for awhile. No calls received. So I rang the surgery. I was told that I have to wait between 3:30 and 6:30 pm. Why bother having a time slot appointment? Receptionist was miserable on the phone.

Booking an appointment should not be so difficult. It should be relatively simple, book by phone or online. But no, you have to win the race in a 10 minute window when appointments are released like golden tickets for the Wonker Chocolate factory. This has to be the only place that calls you to say you need to make an appointment but then tell you that you can't do it on the phone with them. Instead you have to ring back the next morning and hope you get through before all the magic tickets are gone in order to speak to the same person who called you to get an appointment. I have been with Haling Park Medical Practice for over 15 years and am at the point where I need to find another GP. You never see the same doctor twice anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter. In my entire lifetime I have never been with a practice as bad as this. Sort out your reception staff, make it possible to actually book an appointment in a way that is convenient for your patients and improve your service.
