Submitted an econsult and the reply advised making an appointment with a GP or nurse practitioner. I call on my day off, every morning at 8am on the dot only to find I'm on hold for 15+ minutes in a queue only to find that by the time my call is answered that all appointments are gone. I have to put my entire life on hold and plan nothing for my days off in case I actually manage to get through and get an appointment. Lots of GPs have adopted this scheduling and it appears it is not working. On a positive note, the doctors and nurses are fabulous when you actually get to see them but they need to have a look at their appointment system and give it a massive overhaul.

Trying to get an appointment to see an actual Doctor at this practice is nigh on impossible, their telephone appointments scheme is asbysmal, you are kept waiting and waiting and waiting only to be told to try tomorrow
