The staff here are so caring and efficient. Communication has been amazing and I have always been kept in the loop regarding referrals and on going treatment plans. I cannot fault them - highly recommend this practice.

I had a consultation with the asthma nurse practitioner and felt compelled to write this review because her whole approach was caring, professional yet reassuring and could not, in my view, be improved upon. She was extremely thorough in her medical examination, exploring non respiratory symptoms to gain a more holistic view of the problem: I was very impressed. Having made an assessment she consulted with colleagues in order to ensure appropriate diagnostic tests could be scheduled. She also phoned me after the consultation to ensure the correct medication was available. All in all a brilliant service from the practitioner and the whole team.

Every six months I used to have a physical assessment to continue my medication, now I phone in my blood pressure and a pharmacists checks whether I am still alive. Why worry? I phoned in a couple of months ago after I changed my Fitbit, which now gives me a daily warning about atrial fibrillation. I wasn't too worried because I know Fitbit lacks precision. I was reassured to that effect. That would all be fine if it were not for the fact that when I had an MRI scan to check my heart it transpired that I had (think this is correct) hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (one wall showing signs of thickening. When the two pieces of information are put together it should trigger a warning that something may be wrong. If the surgery still carried out face to face assessments I am sure that this would receive more attention. As it is, I feel that this issue is slipping under the net - so I may become another statistic for excess deaths (with heart conditions being in pole position). This is not a particular complaint about Rustlings Road surgery, it is happened across the NHS. The point I want to make is that this is one way that the hands off approach may be costing lives.

Over the last 12 months I’ve needed to contact the practice for a number of reasons. I’ve found the GPs I’ve spoken have listened to my concerns and been really helpful and supportive and responded in a timely manner. My experience has been excellent and far from the media presentation of primary care being ‘in crisis’. Thank you

I registered with Rustlings when I moved to sheffield 5 years ago and have had consistently excellent service for myself, my partner and my two small children. The reception staff are always hugely accommodating and pleasant and the GPs are excellent. Thank you.

I contacted the Surgery with an urgent medical problem. Despite the heavy ( pre- Christmas) demand, I was able to see the GP within the hour. They were so kind and understanding and also efficient in prescribing medication that has worked. On every level a brilliant service.

Given how much pressure gp surgeries are under I’ve been so impressed at how efficient and quick the doctors have been in helping with multiple problems recently. Even when I’ve rang late in the day with urgent issues I’ve still had a call back . I’ve spoken to all the partners and they’ve all been very knowledgeable, understanding and efficient. Thankyou so much.

I recently had cause to contact the practice and I could not have received better treatment. My fears were taken seriously and the doctor could not have been more genuinely caring and reassuring. It was this more than anything that made the experience exemplary. Appointments for tests and their results were super fast and I am so very grateful. This was the health service at its absolute best.
