I contacted Lime Square today at 8am, was second in the queue. Spoke to a lovely receptionist who booked me in to see GP. The GP contacted me 10 minutes later, prescription sent to pharmacy. My problem was dealt with in the space of 20 minutes. Amazing service thank you.

Tried for 2 days to get appointment to see a doctor, no appointments available for 10 days receptionist seems to think she is a qualified doctor , can’t have an appointment on a Thursday cause they finish at 12 midday, can get you a phone call consultation in 10 days with a doctor !! How can he see what is wrong over the phone, Lime square is a shambles you phone for an appointment at bang on 8am and number 26 in the queue, will be looking at changing surgery soon

Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback. This may have been on one of the days the practice had been closed for the afternoon for training with cover arranged externally. We are constantly reviewing access and have several options available. Besides telephone and face to face appointments with the GP, we have other clinicians within the practice that may be able to help or we can refer you to the local Pharmacy Consultation scheme for minor ailments where appropriate. You can also access the surgery via online consultations via the website for non-urgent healthcare. We also have appointments available at evenings and weekend in the Extended Access Hub. I saw the nurse who was very thorough in asking my problems. She sorted out my breathless Ness and also went the extra mile to get me a covid vaccine which no walk in centre would give me because of allergies. I feel so grateful because nobody else had sussed the reason for my breathlessness which I had suffered for months. Many thanks .

The new supervisor is an incredible member of staff and for sure a major contribution to the practice. for the years I have been registered here and first met her below this position, she has been nothing but patient, polite, well-mannered and attentive to each one of my phone calls. She builds excellent rapport to take me away from my worries/concerns and always end the conversation with a laugh. I recognise the fact she also goes above and beyond to ensure she ticks all boxes for the patients to ensure they are helped and seen to. She is informative when it comes to her responses on questions I have, always calls back when she promises to and has the answers when needed. It makes me very happy that she has taken up the role of supervisor at the practice as it is well deserved and wish many more accolades & success stories come her way. Please continue to recognise her for her hard work, loyalty and contribution to the practice. Thank you! You know exactly who you are :)

After leaving Clayton health centre because of very poor service care and lack of compassion, I joined Lome Sq , I can only say I’m so impressed by how quickly I’ve been seen very professionall , would definitely recommend Lime Sq medical practice

The service from the receptionist to the doctor was 5 star. No waiting time. Also very flexible to my work schedule, customer service side of things was also 5 star. Doctor knew what she was talking about when she saw my injury. Seemed like a specialist, I Would make her my permanent doctor of choice if possible.

My 91 years old mother has been a patient here for nearly a year and we need to record how good everyone at this practice has been. Friendly receptionists, professional practitioners and dignified treatment received by my mum every time we have attended.

i had two infected insect bites one to my leg and one to the back of my neck which caused an allergic reaction to my face. i phone the surgery at 8am expecting an appointment and was told i would get a call back which i got i was told by one of the staff to upload a photo which i did but no one bothered to contact me back. the second occasion i had text from the surgery to discuss a bad rash on my back . i phoned next morning at 8am only to be told we have no more appointments that day phone again tomorrow. what was the point of the text if there were not any appointments a total and utter waste of time. so on both i recieved no medical aid what so ever the worst surgery service i have ever been with

They only offer same day appointments if you ring at 8am. If you are able to ring at 8am (which not everyone is - night/shift workers for example. People with depression etc. who can't do early mornings) you don't even get told whether you'll be called in the morning or afternoon. It's not practical to sit around all day waiting for a phone call. Which on more than one occasion has never come, or I've missed it because you're not given a time and the call comes the one minute you're away from your phone. This is a huge barrier to me receiving care that I should be getting. I'll only call if it's something urgent - like today - only to be fobbed off and told to call tomorrow at 8am when I'm not able to. They then said they'd give me a phone call when I've had a cough and bad chest/breathing for over 3 weeks. I don't need a phone call, I need to be examined. But first I need to wait all day for a phone call I'll probably miss only to have to fight to get a face to face appointment. I'm at my absolute limit with this practice. It just doesn't work. Also what about people with actual urgent needs that arise after 8am? They have to wait until the next morning for an appointment - how is that safe/practical? It's all a joke.

We are constantly reviewing our access levels with patient demand and have several alternative methods to offer including online access, direct referral to local Pharmacies for Minor ailments, more recently we have Extended Access via the local hub and LIVI appointments for video consultations, including evenings and weekends.
