I was having issues with a hospital saying I hadn't been referred from another, both blaming each other & I was getting nowhere. Did an admin econsult at 4pm, had a response saying they'd chase the referral at 5pm and then received a text at 8pm saying the referral had now been accepted. Amazing service and I am so so grateful as felt I was just going round in circles. Can't thank the practice enough.

I recently attended the practice to receive a steroid injection in my left knee. I have suffered with very painful knees for years but the last few months my left knee has been so painful that i have not been able to get about by myself ,limping badly and unable to walk up and down stairs unaided. My dear GP and practice nurse made me feel so welcome (their friendly banter is so amusing) i immediately felt at ease .When the procedure was finished and i stepped down off the bed i was amazed ,no pain what so ever .To say i was happy is an under statement ,i felt wonderful. I hobbled into the surgery and skipped out. I cannot thank my GP enough ,if i could i would give 10 stars and i am very sorry that i'm not allowed to say the names or gender of any one in particular. Yesterday i received a follow up call from another GP at the surgery to ask me how i was after the procedure, i mean, what an amazing team at Albion .My own GP is having a well earned break at the moment but not before making sure my medications were all up to date first. I am so grateful to all the Doctors, nurses and staff at Albion who are always so kind and caring ,not just to me but to my daughter and grandchildren too. Thank you all so much . Doctor advised a scan which I’ve now had. I was advised to make an appointment with the doctor 7 days later. Unable to make an appointment without filling in an e-consult, this was after waiting 30 minutes to get through. I fail to understand why as I’m wasting my time and more importantly the doctors who will now have to view e-consult, advise me to make an appointment so wasting the receptionist time as well. Surely there’s a more effective and efficient way of dealing with these type of situations

Dear Patient, thank you for your feedback. The E-consults are viewed by the Doctors and they action them into a priority of urgency and how the patient needs to be contacted and by who. This means the patient see the right person at the right time, this can mean changing the urgency of appointment or it could be something that can be dealt with a different format. Could you please ring the surgery with the number you called on so I can check against our records who was on duty and why the phone was not answered. We have a tool that allows us to check down to the minutes against number. Kind regards Janet, Practice manager

This practice has been a part of my family for generations and we are very loyal .The location may have changed over the years but the care and wellbeing of their patients has remained the same . The staff on reception are always so friendly whether it be over the phone or at the surgery as are the nurses who are always so cheerful and down to earth and the doctors are simply brilliant. I arrived 30 minutes early today but was seen immediately by my lovely GP who always listens to me patiently , understands my problems and has really helped me to manage my condition. Attended the practice today , excellent service as usual from everyone,particularly my GP who is just amazing.I cannot recommend her highly enough. I truly appreciate all your care and support . Thank you
