My son who is 5 had to have an extraction. After a failed attempt by an out of hours dentist I (and understandably he!) Was very nervous about attempting this again. The dentist at eastgate was very calm, sensitive and understanding. She took her time to explain and treated my son as an individual. She completed the treatment that day, and I'm also happy to report restored his faith in dentistry. I would recommend them to anyone.

Lady hygienist really effective and virtually painless many thanks, admin email reminders a godsend staff very professional and premises tidy and clean

Dentist excellent and very friendly. Always have at least 20 minute wait after our appointment time, which is annoying when you have to get back to work. Disappointed to hear the practice is changing to private patients only.

My dentist explained what she was going to do in a way that made me feel calm. The whole procedure went as planned. She explained the aftercare in detail.

We have been customers since 2017 but with only two text messages they purported to send, my child was deleted from their books following Covid due to her last appointment being in 2019 prior to covid starting. No letters were received or phone calls to follow up and the texts did not stipulate that if appointments weren’t made then they would be deleted from the practice. Given that she attended the Eastgate orthodontist practice as soon as they were accepting patients again, this is treated as a separate organisation and had no relevance to them removing my child from the dental practice. Now they don’t accept child patients under the NHS so we can only register her as a private patient. Stay away from the practice and remember that any attendance pattern at the orthodontists is irrelevant to the dental practice.

Waste of time filling out the forms as you don’t read them , 4 week I came in with a pain in my tooth booked in for treatment ,day of tooth extraction I’ve been told it’s not possible because of a contra indication I disclosed 4 wks ago , took time off work and the day of my appointment I’m told I need a cover letter from my Dr ,you dropped the ball Eastgate, very flashy set up but the most basic concept of reading patients notes you’re failed to do,,il go to a less flashy practice with a more personal approach more patient focused,but I’m sure you have a lot of happy patients but I’m not 1

Very annoyed having to pay a deposit for next hygienist appointment I have been a customer for many years and never missed an appointment, also it would have been nice to know not seeing my usual dentist

The practice is free of clutter. No waiting. This is NOW a dental Practice. All staff friendly and considerate

Very appreciative for emergency appointment and understand how busy it is but for me string and waiting for 2hrs was very difficult as I have serious back and neck issues staff are amazing and professional but would have helped if they were a bit more aware
