Had my first hip replacement done December 22 and followed up with second hip March 24. Exceptional care from all members of staff throughout. Consultant an absolute star. All went smoothly and very quickly. I would recommend Barlborough to anyone who needs joint replacement. Saturday operation and home on the Monday. Attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Everyone very professional and courteous. Totally put at ease and everything explained fully. After care second to none.. Most hygienic hospital ever attended

I am a 76 year old woman who has just had a total knee replacement at Barlborough Hospital. I was extremely anxious about the whole procedure, not least of all the spinal anaesthetic. This hospital, from surgeon, anaesthetist, doctors, nurses and all the staff was exemplary, I could not fault it in any area. I was greeted with smiles, treated with dignity and respect. The anaesthetist was so friendly and kind that there was no needle pain or even any awareness that I had actually had the spinal injection. My legs were numb and I drifted into happy oblivion. My stay-over was as comfortable as the nurses could possibly make it. Thank you so much for taking such great care of me.

From start to finish all the staff were very professional and polite. I was treated with the upmost respect and dignity. I was given expert advice on my hip replacement, and all what it would entail, from start to recovery at home. I would say that this hospital is the best I have ever been treated at. I can not fault anyone that took care of me. I had the best care anyone could have. Thanks again to all that looked after my welfare it was very much appreciated.

I have just been to my 6 week meeting after my knee replacement. The care I have had from my first visit to now has been brilliant. From the staff serving the meals to the surgeons, nothing could have been bettered. My visit yesterday with the physio was just as good, I was treated with care and professionalism and felt that they were really interested for my future wellbeing. So thankyou all the wonderful staff.

I can’t fault this hospital. The surgeon was first class as were the lovely nurses and wider support staff. Follow up support couldn’t have been more helpful and I hope I can revisit them when I have to have the other hip replaced. Thanks to all concerned for looking after me so well

I went into Barlbrough 3 days ago for total hip replacement totally terrified at the thought of it, after putting it off for a long time I knew it had to be done, I was referred there by GP and was so pleased, everyone is so friendly and the food is great. I was immediately put at ease. I came out yesterday afternoon thoroughly impressed with the place and the staff. Highly recommend anyone to go there .

Barlborough did my hip replacement in December. Thoroughly professional throughout. All staff very helpful. Physio support excellent after surgery. Super quick and organised. I will certainly return to have my other hip done. Highly recommend this hospital.

The spinal surgery team did an outstanding job, the outcome vastly increased my quality of life. Everyone was friendly, caring & helped ease any patient worries. Support staff had good communication skills, they were very organised & seem to work well together. Very clean environment & the food was fairly good too.
