  1. Review titled 12 years of nhs service counts for nothing.

As an ex-employee, I felt swuft was derelict in my moment of need. As a patient facing clinician, I was expected to listen and display empathy to them. Swuft hierarchy need to learn these skills as all my problems were ignored. I would not recommend to anyone to work for swuft, unless you are willing to degrade yourself. I guarantee, you will be on your own and not be support by swuft.

  2. Review titled Poor process

Rated 1 star out of 5

Came in with extreme stomach issues and was referred by a GP for potential appendicitis. Because I was referred to the surgical team, but was housed in A&E, I sat with no tests being done at all for over 5 hours. When I asked "can you tell me what's happening" of the people at the desk, the answer was "no". They couldn't tell me what the plan to treat me was, how long the wait time was likely to be, or even whether there was somebody on the ward. The staff were great but the processes must be awful if getting referred puts you in a grey bucket with no information on what happens next. I thought about leaving and at least being in bed with the problem rather than on an uncomfy plastic seat. Poor.

From entering the department and trying to use the book in screen - that was playing up, all the staff from reception to the radiographers were so kind, helpful, and showed such empathy. A credit to the NHS . Thanks so much !

Needed to visit Audiology at Stratford Hospital in April and May. I was seen promptly and the audiologists were very polite and client focussed. Explained everything carefully and clearly. Clinical issues professionally addressed. Excellent service.

My experience on Wednesday 1st March of surgical day unit at Warwick hospital was an example of the NHS at its finest. All of the staff, I encountered from the receptionist to the nurse who discharged me were professional, kind and caring. I was kept fully informed at every juncture and felt very safe and secure. I received clear and comprehensive discharge advice, both verbally and in writing. Additionally, I was contacted following day to check that always well. Thank you very much.

  6. Review titled Wonderful care for a 'difficult' problem

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Bladder issues aren't something that many people like to talk about - and no-one likes to experience them Having a CT scan then a cystoscopy is a difficult experience - in lots of ways Being seen on a Sunday - just re-enforces the thoughts of any patient that the staff (from the Consultant through all the nurses and reception) are simply wonderful Being treated with so much understanding and care throughout - made something 'difficult' bearable Thank you
